nightly incounter

As i wonder along the souless roads of district 3, i wonder why i was left alone..... maybe its becuase i was not in the picture when all the disasters happend. Or they thought id be dumb enough to kill myself after they did. As my thinking wonders off i see figure following me. I turn a corner and tackle the shadow following me and hear a familiar yelp from the figure.

i was walking down the street when i noticed the large figure that i have grown to know as luke. i wanted to talk to him so i tried following him. he was very big so it was hard for me to catch up. he turned around and i tried to open my mouth to say hi, but he tackled me and i let out a yelp "hey leave this aggresion for the games buddy" i stated with a smile.

" wha.?? josh! what the hell are you doing here ?" i stare impressed by his courage to come talk to me when its night time. " man if you hadnt yelped that girlish yelp i would have torn into you like a wolf in starvation" .

i laughed "well im sorry about your paranoai. i was just alking back to my hosue... can you get off me now"

i let off a snicker and pull up josh. " you should get lessons on dodging and expecting the unexpected" i reply. as i walk him home we discuss combat and strategies for the hunger games.

"who needs reflex when you have strategy" josh stated. then they walked back home

As dawn approached me and josh met up at the stew house. "what type of stew for you boys today?" said a lady "pea soup please" i say.

"beef" josh stated in a dull voice. he was playing over in his head what had happened last night. it was quite funny actually. "alright josh" stated the lunch woman. it is funny how she can remember all of our names.

As we were seated i played out a question " hey josh if you were picked would you let me volenteer for you cuase i mean you have a familly and i don't" i stated as fast as i could.
" you have something to live for i don't my famillys dead youre's is alive and all". When i finished we sat in silence as we slurped our warm stew in the cold warehouse building.

"Oh comon" josh started jokingly "haven't you grown pretty fond of your wolf pack" josh smiled

"Sometimes a wolf has to win a fight to show he belongs" I say blankly. As i stare at the birds eating in the morning mildew grass i think of what my father said once "son its better to sacrifice than get" he said.

Josh started "I just want to show everyone what district 3 is truly about" josh paused "the brains of our district. Don't you think I could win?"

" of course you could..... i just deal with losing a friend like you in a savage game meant for pleasure to sick minded people" i state with diffuculty. Ever since my brother died i had been itching to show the capitol what they did to me and my familly hoping for revenge somehow.

Josh noticed that Luke said that last statement rather loudly and put his hand quickly over his mouth "hey, slim it buddy! You can't say that kinda stuff out here!"

" Sorry I just get a little angry when i talk about the devils" i state in a wisper. I had noticed my bowl of soup had fallen over the edge of the table while i had my fit. "guess im done with breakfeast" i said dully. i got up to leave and take a short walk.

I watched him walk away and felt everyone's eyes direct towards me. I pick up a napkin and clean up the mess. I put both of our bowls back "have a nice day" I said to the cafeteria. Then I left

During the day i had plenty of time to think about my past and my choices i had to make.
Many many choices i had but i liked one in mind. When the next games start i would hitch a ride on the train and send a message to the capitol.

I quickly walked over to Luke and slapped him on the shoulder "what the hell was that buddy?"

With a startled jump i reply " sorry i guess i lost my cool today i didnt try to have another fit" i reply. we walk around the district trying to find easy money. as the day ended we seperated till the next day.

As the burning sun hit my skin as i lay with the pack i embrace the morning breeze of the day to come. " time for me to go guys see ya for feasting tonight". As i went to the soup house againe i didnt see josh wich worried the hell out of me. So i went of to find my lost friend.

this was the day. the final goodbye day. josh had already told luke about volunteering so he gave him visiting hours for the final goodbyes. he was waiting in the justice building for luke.

Why i wanted to see josh was because while he is in the games im going to make a resistance and take the capitol DOWN!!!!
