Welcome to the 38th Arena!
Be prepared, because The 38th Games have begun. But strangely enough, you don't see the light to your tunnel above. Instead you'll find yourselves moving horizontally. And ultimately stop in totally darkness. Feel your surroundings. And you will find nothing but curved walls tightly swallowing you into the depths of nothing, suffocating you with its too-close-for-comfort distance. The timer flashes in front of your very eyes, waiting at the number 60 before it starts to tick. Behind you where the tube sends you forward is replaced with concrete, you have no idea where you are, who you're with, or where they are. The only way now, is forward.
Now, we all know you’ll obviously need something to wear. We here in the Capitol have equipped you with stunningly amazing attire required for this Arena.
38th Games Attire:
You are donned in what seems to be a snazzy checkered uniform with your name pinned tackily in bad amazing fonts.
As of this moment, the games have begun. You will post in this topic of your tribute in the sixty seconds before the gong sounds and the tributes must move forward into the unknown oblivion. You will not leave your plate until a Gamemaker announces the end of the sixty seconds and sounds the gong. Trying to leave the plate early is an automatic disqualification, on account that if you survive the spikes you will be crippled and will bleed out and suffocate in your tunnel or be easy pickings for the other tributes, if you make it that dar. Once the gong sounds, you are free to run away or fight, as you choose. However, you must post twice before leaving.Your tributes are stuck in this larger area of darkness the Underground. There is only one way out to the great open. You will only find out once the gong sounds and you escape the claustrophobic tunnel. Now that you've found your way to the corn, the only way out of the Underground, is the Basement of the House. Or choose to explore here before you give it up. Your choice. Your fate. Please do not have more than one active topic per area unless we give express permission in very rare special cases because the area is so vast.
Don't go overboard with supplies. If we find you have taken like everything and would never be able to carry it, besides making it unfair, we will tell you that your tribute has dropped some of the items and may keep a certain amount. This probably won't be a problem, but if it is, that's what'll happen. Other than that, supplies are pretty must first come first serve, and we will keep the list updated as best we can as we go. You are not able to see anything yet, not until the gong sounds and you attempt to crawl your way to freedom. Obviously, unless the supplies are dark matter, they are not visible to you just yet. But are there even supplies?
Also, please remember you are allowed to kill NPCs, as well as launch attacks at each other through attack die. There is no escape die required for this fight; just your two posts required to leave. Below is a list of NPCs, for your convenience.

Dark. Pure, pitch dark. It was kind of creepy, though the tribute was assured that the dark space surrounding him would dissappear quickly as the podium sped him... Forward? What? This didn't make sense, at all. The podium stopped, and he was baffled. It was still dark, he had no idea of what to do. Tristan couldn't see anything, like, were the gamemakers expecting us to kill each other in the plain dark? Just to randomly throw the spear in your hand in an absolute random direction in hopes of hitting and or finding a target? Most likely, the tribute thought to himself with a small smile spreading accrossed his face. Tristan was proud with his score, tied with the highest score overall. He was satisfied, but at least that meant he'd probably get a few sponsors. The podium started pulling him back, as the clock ran down and down-- closer to the second the blood will rain. The time had come for him to shine in the dark, and in which he would. Gong.

He was lifted onto the plate in a near complete darkness. The teen couldn't see five yards ahead of him, or maybe it was that he was facing the wrong way. Who knows, he might be in front of a huge black wall. Turning around, Mac saw pitch blackness that way, too. "Hello?" The teen whispered, wondering where everyone was. Turning back around, he went with his gut on which way to go. He readied to to get out of wherever he was now, he could do this.. he could do it!

Leland shook his head, bouncing from foot to foot in the tube. It was too quiet in there, no sound at all. Looking upwards, he was greeted with a metal plate covering the top of the hole. Shaking his head, Leland went over his fight plan in his head. ”Sprint for the center, grab a weapon, find Luna, and run.” While not much of a plan on survival, it was all Leland felt he could do.
Looking ahead, all he could see was pure darkness. He assumed his was facing the right way, Leland shook his head. Darkness is no fun, especially when it means life or death. No idea what is coming for you or going away from you. Staring ahead, Leland watched the timer, that seemed to be embedded into his eyes. Closing his eyes and shaking his head, Leland keeps focused. The countdown freaks him out slightly, but no more than not knowing his surroundings. He stood, watching straight ahead, ready to kill if he needed to. Especially that kid from Eleven, if he ever saw him.

Luna took in her surroundings. But that was hard, considering how everything was dark. The girl whimpered, attempting to see if there was anything out there in that dark void. She cautiously spread her hands out and felt walls. Just.. walls. However, there was one direction in which the dark somehow got darker. It appeared empty. So the only way is forward. Luna took a deep breath and attempted to think clearly. Get something from the middle. Preferably a weapon. Find Leland. Or that boy from 11. Try not to kill unless necessary. She fidgeted nervously as the countdown glowed. 60... 59... 58...

As the tributes crawl their way out the light starts to glow to reveal a carousel as well as the supplies sprinkled on it. A ride operator stands still by the carousel in a way nicer uniform than the tributes, unfeeling, unmoving. as if waiting for someone to come up to him. The moment they get out of their tunnel, the exit closes shut behind them. The only way is forward.

Lacey rises up her tribute pedestal, and expects the burst of light that she usually saw on the tv's back in Eight, but she didn't. In fact, she couldn't see anything at all; darkness filled her vision. She squinted in trying to see which items were where, but she still couldn't make anything out. What the heck?
She heard the gong ring, and she stumbled off her plate and into the darkness. She looked around, tryng to look for anything useful. The darkness around her was starting to get to her mind. She knelt down and felt around the floor in search of any supplies. A light shone ahead of her and she furiously continued forwards until she met a carosel-like structure. She looked over it and it seemed all inflatable- no actual weapons in sight. She picked up some musical instrument which she hasn't seen before. She shrugged her shoulders and looked to her right before ramming it into the side of a tribute's head. She closed her eyes as they fell to the ground, and she quickly opened them to look for anything else that could be useful. She came across a weird looking backpack, which would be good for holding supplies, so she held it in one hand. She stuffed a corn dog lookig thing into her backpack, grabbed a pair of stilts, as it seemed, and she slung her backpack over she shoulder and ran.

(for Tori :DD) Spencer looked around at his surroundings. He couldn't see them all too well, and he couldn't tell where any of the tributes he met in Training were, either. He couldn't see the Cornucopia as clear as he wanted to. All he wanted to find were some weapons or possible supplies, but he couldn't spot anything without darkness filling into sight. He jumped as he heard the gong go off and he ran forward. He picked up a sword looking item, a pair of two tall stick things, a sippy cup, and an inflatable corn dog. He gathered his items and ran forward.

Leon rushed forward from his tunnel when the gong sounded, not even paying attention when it closed behind him. He immediately grabbed the Dora Backpack, putting it on quickly. He grabbed a rubber chicken and then saw the male tribute from District three coming towards him. He immediately swung the chicken into the kid's face and began to beat him to death with it, saying, "Sorry, sorry...oh god that's alotta blood...sorry..." He finished with a grimace and ran for other items, looking for something useful...and found a red ball thing. He put it on his nose and laughed, running around to find more items. He saw his district partner running towards him and smacked her in the face with it. He began to beat her to death as well, sighing as he said, "Sorry guys...shouldn't go for me...I have a chicken..."

Auralee couldn't keep from screaming when the gong rang. Just seconds ago these people had been somewhat civil towards each other, and now half of them were dead. She shook her head, blinking back tears, and propelling her body forward at top speed. Without thinking, Aurie grabbed a stuffed bunny and a pack of tarot cards that were nearby and sprinted off in a random direction. Her eyes were still adjusting to the light change, but the arena looked creepy already. She passed a music box and grabbed it on her way with a slight smile at the familiar object.

Before he knew it, Leon was caught up in a battle with a large number of tributes fist fighting or smacking each other with pillows and inflatable hammers. Leon was attacked by the girl he was pretty sure was from District 3 and back-handed her face with the chicken. He watched her fall to the ground and immediately began to smack her bloody with the chicken. He grinned, and began to sing, "I said I! Don't! Care what you think as long as it's about me~, the best of us can find happiness in miseryyy..." He chuckled, finally finding a way to do this easily. It was all just an act! That's all it was. He moved on to his next victim, the District 6 male already on the ground and began to beat him to death as well as he sang. After that he moved on to the district 7 female and then the district 9 female. By then however, he was done with his song and figured it was time to get the hell outta dodge.

As she ran, Lacey swung her saxophone into the faces of two other tributes. She grimaced at the sight of the blood on her so called weapon now, and she wanted to get out of any more chances of danger. She looked around, holding her stilts in one hand and her saxophone in the other. She couldn't see anyone she knew yet. Maybe they all died. The girl didn't know, so she decided to run down the tunnel and out of the blood bath.

He stood at the bloodbath for a moment, deciding on whether or not he should get more supplies or leave. He shrugged and continued away from the blood bath. Auralee looked around and allowed herself to stop for a moment only. Hopefully the more violent tributes would be otherwise occupied with the bloodbath. She was almost at the edge of... well, whatever this was, and she had no idea where she was going to go. Auralee readjusted her grip on her supplies and glanced down at the music box again, taking a deep breath. You can do this. Stick to the plan. She darted off into the rest of the arena.

The corndog was too squishy in Lacey's hand and it slipped off as she ran away from the gruesome bloodbath.
With having too many things to hold with just one pair of hands, the pair of stilts from Spencer's grip fell off and clunked onto the concrete ground close to the carousel.
The rubber chicken squacked a strangled bloody sound every time Leon whacked it into someone's face.
Sorry kelli if you could specify which tributes you wish to rip apart that would be really great! sorry for making you guys drop something but trust me, you don't really need it, more great things ahead in this arena.

Dipping and dodging as people were being hacked and slashed at, Dane just tried to survive this crazy bloodbath thing alive. The closest thing to him was a pillow of some sort and a weird hammer that looked like someone blew it up or something. He also noticed a box of cards there right next to his hands, and grabbing at it blindly he threw it in his pockets. Dane turned back around just as somebody was running towards him, obviously trying to attempt the obvious. Even though his initial thought was 'I should probably try to kill them,' but instead he just dodge out of the way of the clumsy stick coming towards him. Lorcan was standing on the pedestal in the arena, waiting for the gong to sound. He looked around, he was in some sort of carnival area. The count down started and he prepared himself for the blood bath. He didnt really have an alliance, so he wouldnt have to worry about waiting for people, or having his alliance members die. The Gong Rang and Lorcan ran towards the cornucopia, there were lots of supplies scattered around, but no real weapons. He grabbed two of the sparkly juggling pins, and a stuffed rabbit, he also grabbed the last sippy cup and a pair of stilts, who knows when they might come in handy.

Tristan dashed off his plate, running towards the area where there were already eight dead and probably still some tributes standing around. As the male got out, the arena confused him slightly, but he went straight into the deal of getting weapons. Dashing over to a pair of stilts of some sorts, he picked it up when he chose it as his weapon. There was a cute little stuffed bunny nearby, so the tribute had ran over and picked it up. The thing was adorable, and he held it close as if it were the only thing keeping him safe. Grabbing a large teddy bear along with that, since the little bunny needed a friend to talk to. Though, there was a sippy cup that even though it seemed childish; he wanted it. Grabbing it, he looked around for any sign of escape.

Ross couldn't help but be angry at the darkness in front of him. Every other games the tributes would see light that would lead to the arena, but there was nothing but darkness. At least he was claustrophobic, right? The darkness can also let him plan without seeing any of the intimidating other tributes or worrying about what the arena would bring. Maybe the darkness was the arena, and he would have to find and fight people in here? No, it's hard enough to light up the night for the Capitol to see, it'd be too hard to light up pure darkness. Ross went off into thinking about what to do when he gets out of here, he's define toy not gonna kill anybody and going to the cornucopia doesn't seem like much of a bad idea, but you never know who's out there, ready to strike. "I'll run to the cornucopia and dash out into the closes condensed area. Just somewhere with a lot of trees or fog or rain." He thought, however cliche it was it's the best plan he could think about, yeah he's definitely screwed over. When he was allowed out he ran and grabbed a bunny and a straw.

Tristan took his chances, and started dashing out. He didn't know where, but he was going somewhere far away from here. Why? Because he needed a place to call home for a while, somewhere where'd his plans would unfold and his true self will reveal. Which was why he did so, running out he kicked a dead body in the head in pity. Almost in the way that was saying 'Are you still alive?', but, he knew the answer to that. He even saw his dead district partner lying on the ground, it kind of hit him hard seeing her on the ground without any life left in her. Shaking his head, he left the area.

Lorcan was trying to hold many things at once as he ran and couldn't hold on to one of the juggling clubs and the pair of stilts.
The Big Fluffy Teddy Bear, though adorable, may have blocked Tristan's view and missed the sippy cup as Lorcan got hold of it a second earlier. However he did pick up the pair of stilts that same tribute dropped.
The Twirly Straw and Snake Toy were elated that they got picked up, brooding off happy vibes.

The gong rang, signaling the beginning of the end. Lights turned on, blinding Leland momentarily. Light encircled the large structure they were on, and a man stood off to the side, creepily watching. Shaking his head, Leland sprinted forward. Apparently being older made him forget to run. He arrived late to the center, confronted by a lack of supplies. One of the boys was dropping a… sparkly club? Racing behind the boy, Leland leaned down and grabbed it from the ground. Looking over his shoulder, Leland noted random toys scattered about. Turning with his back to the boy he had just gotten the club off of, Leland ran, hoping to escape without a scratch. ”Find Luna,” he muttered, sprinting ahead.
