Micah was being dragged by his father down the stairs. The sudden jolts coming with each step hurt his head, but he didn't say anything. He didn't say a word after his father walked in on him when he was getting out of the bath. That was when he saw the hundreds of little cuts and scars he made. Micah's father had a tight grip. He pushed Micah up against the wall, yelling at him. "Micah, you fucking idiot! Why would you do such a thing?!" His father quickly questioned, but before he could respond, Mr. Switch kept going. "Abusing yourself is not the answer, young man. Do you here me?!" His father quickly unleashed his belt from the waist and beat Micah with it. It was leather, and it hurt. He did it again, twice, three times. Each time is seemed to hurt more, but at the same time, it made his neck number to the whippings he was getting.

"What else have you been hiding from us, fucker?" His father questioned Micah, scaring him. Mr. Switch didn't often curse in front of his children, he only did if he was truly pissed off. He shook his head, and he didn't want to share any of his other secrets. Mr. Switch didn't know Micah was gay, and if he told him that, it would make matters even worse. Mr. Switch belted him again, this time across the ear. "Fucking tell me you ass," His father yelled at him, his breathing got heavier. "Stop.. father." He said, tears dripping from his eyes. All his father did to respond was whip him again. "I'm gay." He blurted out, trying to make it short and quick. His father just froze, staring at him with anger and disbelief. "You're what?" He said, beginning to let out anger he'd been waiting to give for a long time. The belt seemed to hit him over and over now, right to left. All he could manage out was a quiet and scratchy yelp for help.. but who'd help him? His mother was afraid of her husband when he was angered. Sondra.. maybe Sondra could help. But for now, Micah continued to constantly get belted again and again.

Sondra had been working on her most recent piece of artwork she's been working on for about a month, and she was pretty happy about the turn-out of the painting. It was a pretty good day, so far. But, it was kind of chilly inside her house and she could do nothing about it. Standing up, she walked over to her small closet that contained a small jacket she put on after inspecting it. Putting it on, she walked slowly back over to her chair in front of her easel with her paint ready. Today was the day, she would finish it. Today. She got back to work quickly, taking quick strokes on the paper as the girls eyes glowed with inspiration. She progressed farther, "Just a few more touches..." the young girl murmured to herself as she painted her last few touches. As she was about to put her last finishing touch, and right when she touched the board-- she heard a scream. Her dad's scream, and her scream combined. Her painting... It--- all the hard work she had been working on it, gone... Anger filled up the girl like a balloon, as she flared her nostrils.

She stormed out of the room, to see her brother being pushed on the wall by her dad-- naked/ Sondra had to shield her eyes, as she didn't want to see any of that. But, listened to the subject. Her father had found out that Micah made his own paintings, but not the kind Sondra liked. When he said he was gay, Sondra wasn't surprised. She kind of already could tell by the way he acted around Loki now. But, her father was furious that he was. The girl winced as her father beat Micah at first, but she then yelled and shoved her father over. Not caring if she saw her brother or not, she slapped her father.
"What the hell do you think YOU'RE doing?" She raged, while staring at him in the face-- tears springing from her face as she remembered-- David, he was bi and her father didn't know. "YOU'RE DOING THE EXACT SAME THING, MAYBE THE MAIN REASON WHY DAVID DIDN'T WANT TO COME HOME! YOU'RE HOMOPHOBIC ASS WOULD'VE BEAT HIM. WHY? BECAUSE HE'S FUCKING BISEXUAKL. NOW GET OUT OF HERE, YOU LITTLE ASS AND GO WHIP YOURSELF FOR BEING SUCH OF ONE." The girl spat out, yelling at the top of her lungs and pointing the way which led down the stairs.

Micah heard her sister stomping out of her room, seeming a bit angry. His father's screams must have messed her up on something. She was always in her room drawing, just like Micah was always in his room reading a book or doing something boring. She pushed Mr. Switch off of Micah, allowing the boy not to be naked anymore. He picked up his towel from the staircase and quickly wrapped it around his... stuff. He listened to his sister rant on and on about David being a bisexual, something that Micah knew, but never really cared for. He ignored David most of the time, but now that he is dead, the awkward teenager wished he could hug his brother for once. He'd never hugged his brother, Micah couldn't care less about David. But now he could.

Mr. Switch cussed as he walked up the stairs, mumbling about how he was going to kill Micah and Sondra for causing such a ruckus, again. Brothers and sisters always fought, but now that Micah and Sondra were getting along, the teenager was actually happy to see her around.

Micah rubbed his neck, which was too numb for feeling. "Thanks, Sondra. I don't know what his problem is. I guess he can't handle the.. the truth." He said with a smile, scratching his neck, trying to get feeling in it.

'I guess he can't handle the truth,' Micah had said to her, scratching his neck. Sondra felt awkward, after letting the rage inside her get out that seemed to be built inside her for months. She had stood there for a small while, breathing and trying to get over the fact that she would probably get killed by her father. Then, she remembered Micah's comment about their father not accepting the truth. Well, no duh. I wonder why he tried to whip you. The girl thought to herself for a second, but then nodding in an understanding way while standing there. She had started to edge towards her bedroom to try and start on a new piece of artwork, small step by step.
