| Paris Erickson Paris wasn't interested in all of the lavish furniture and countless amounts of cash that her family received when she arrived back from the games. She had wounds that would become scars soon, heck, they were starting to become scars now. The marks were random, but all held strong memories for the girl. Everything did, from the well near her house to the arrows she has seen being sold in the market.
When Paris got home, she stayed home, inside her new home covered under blankets until she felt warm. The girl came out about two weeks later to begin adjusting back to normal life. She felt stupid for needing to take dog, MJ with her whenever she went to the market, but she didn't care. The constant feeling of dread and anxiety had sunk into her bones, and Paris had a feeling that she wouldn't be able to shake it until the day she died.
She was notably thinner now, as she was still gaining back weight she had lost in the games. Her green jacket hung loosely from her shoulders like curtains, any muscle she had was stringy and false. Paris felt like she was still in the recuperating stage, and she was impatient. "MJ, let's go," she called, one foot already out the door as a small framed Labrador bounded after her. The pair headed towards the hob, where she hoped to trade some of her mother's raspberries. As they walked through the booths and shops, the victor hope no one recognized her. outfit | |
