Name: Nickolas “Nicko” Steele
Age/Birthday: Nicko is 13 on January 14th
Gender: Nicko is male
District: Nicko comes from district 8; textiles.
Family: Nicko lives with his older sister, Allegra “Snorri” and his twin brother Milo
Brief History: Nicko’s parents died when he was young. They were in a factory when it blew up. Allegra was 11 at the time, and she was left to take care of her six year old brothers. After a while, authorities started getting suspicious about the Steele family. By that time, Allegra was 14, and looked about 17. She lied to the mayor, saying she was 18, and then took legal guardianship of the boys. They live in a run down shack that used to be their father’s woodshed, a little ways away from the old house and town. It contains a plank of wood propped on two moldy stools and a pile of blankets serving as a bed.
Physical Appearance: Although Nicko isn’t from 12, he has the “seam” look to him. His eyes are grey, and although his hair is blonde, it is so dark and matted, it could be brown. Nicko is dirty, no matter how many times he takes a bath. His skin is pale, but melted into it is black smoke from the factories, as their house is rather close.
Personality: Nicko is the shy and conserved one. He has a very bright personality, and lots of friends, but inside, he is a lot darker than that. He is a complete pessimist, but disguises it by being happy most of the time. Nicko hates talking about status, even though his friends are well off, and enjoy talking about money. Nicko is really quite lonely inside, but hides his feelings from other.
Flaw: Nicko hates opening up, and is shy and conserved when he is nervous. He also is a really deep sleeper, and tends to underestimate danger.
Pets: None at the moment, although Nicko wishes to get a dog
Rich or Poor?: Nicko is VERY poor
Weapon of Choice: A bow, preferably with throwing knives instead of arrows, as Nicko can throw them as well as shoot them
Talents: Nicko has very good aim, and is good with survival skills. He also knows how to be hungry, and has a pretty good knowledge of plants
