| Okay so on the Chatbox, we were talking about how cute gifs can be and stuff, and I challenged specifically Rainy to a GIF OFF. Now ik you'll all be like 'I WANNA TRY' and you can Just, here are some clarifications -Your Gif-Set must contain of 2 OR MORE gifs -The Gif-Set must be a claim of one of your charries and can relate to them personally -Text on the gif is OPTIONAL (you may make side notes for dialogue if your gif set doesn't) -Beginning Captions OPTIONAL, but encouraged! -Rate Other Gif Sets OPTIONAL ( 1 to 10, 10 being BEST), but encouraged to comment on them to make people feel good. -If you're using a charrie on a different site, INCLUDE A LINK to her Bio/Profile/Charrie Sheet I'll do a sample. -CAPTION- In this Gif-Set, we see Torrence Mason (AKA Connor Jessup) and brother Jaques Mason (AKA Drew Roy) showing love and affection for Torr's feelings about Haylee (AMY'S CHARRIE) ignoring him. This helped me characterize Torr as being an emotional person, that even though relies on his older brother, Jaques, his brother relies on him. They show their love for each other in Gifs 2 and 3 -GIF-SET- Now that we have our example set up.. LET THE GIF OFF BEGIN. -Beautify the 'Let The Gif Off Begin.' Later | |

| Not sure I'm doing this right, but uh... - CAPTION this got really long idk what happened:
This series of gifs is meant to represent some of Leda's final moments. Primarily, it is to make Raiv feel guilty. (As a disclaimer, I should note that I don't actually resent Raiv, and that, while I care about Leda dying, I don't really care that much about not winning.) As someone who has been on this site for all 10ish games, and played a tribute in about 6 of them, and is on staff, you'd think I would have won a games by now. I have not. I've never had much of a desire to win the games. I've given up on every one of my tributes in some way. Then I thought to myself, might as well not kill off my tribute this time. Not try to win, necessarily, but not try to lose. The games went on, and I grew very close to Leda as a character. I loved playing a District 12 tribute - there is nothing more satisfying than a crit hit, let me tell you - and I loved her sassy attitude and lack of consideration for the feelings of others (read: I got to bitch at everybody). Leda, like many other characters of mine, inspired me to write her, play her out, and develop her as a person. I had nothing to lose when I went in with Leda, but by the end of the games, when she died, it felt like I had lost a hell of a lot. However, had Raiv and I not partnered up, Leda probably would have been killed by Hawk's character, despite multiple critical hits, because he kept blocking them. We both were somewhat conflicted about winning, or at least acted like we were, and I just focused on #RaibFinal2, because I knew it would be one of my most memorable games yet. Maybe to observers, the Final 2 wasn't that intense, but to the participants, it was. Hands were shaking, paranoia was high, and we went from "I'll be happy with whoever wins" to "DIE, BEYOTCH, DIE!". Then Norman failed to block a critical hit and was left with extremely low HP. Raiv almost gave up, but we encouraged him to keep playing. I told him he could still win it, though it was pretty obvious he wouldn't. The attacks kept coming and every crit hit Leda made, Raiv kept blocking them. He finally got down to around/under 15 HP, meaning he could be killed by any successful attack. I had 35 HP left. Lupa, at the direction of Sor, decided to lower my HP to 15, making us equal. It was fair; I was upset. In the end, though, that didn't matter. Raiv managed to get a -35 attack and I failed to block it. Leda would have died regardless of the lowered HP. I'm sure you all know how it feels when I character you are attached to dies, especially if you weren't planning on it. You feel like you failed them or let them down somehow, or if you're not emotional, you feel like you should be. Perhaps you don't, and that's just me, but it's not fun. And yet, Leda Carrow got the furthest I've ever been with a tribute in the Games. Previously, I had gotten to the Final 3, with a lot of help from Ari and Gaz, but never truly had a chance at winning. I am thankful for that, but mostly thankful for Leda, because she was one of my favorite characters to play and I wish I could play her more. I don't know if it's true, but I'd like to say that I will never forget her. This got ranty. Here's the gifset. <3
GIFS The last one doesn't fit, but I had to put it in. <333 RIP Leda |
