After getting out of the muddy terrain, Celestia now found herself walking towards a dark cave. No duh its dark. All caves are dark. She thought, standing at the entrance. She looked down at Sharpie. "Well, you know what they say!" She said happily. "They say.. um." Celestia couldn't continue her thought. She didn't know what they said. She never really kept track of what anybody had said in the passed. Shrugging, she walked in, clinging Sharpie in her arms. Peering in quietly, she attempted to go in with a first glance. Let's hope there is water. And if their is, not to fall in! She thought. Celestia knew one thing about caves. The thing she learned in school. Don't breath on them, they might fall! Her teacher said to her class when they were talking about the Lasco Caves. She didn't care for them, but anything that could be useful in the Hunger Games was worth remembering. "Hold on, Sharpie." Celestia said, slowly advancing through the cave.

A faint glow illuminated the cave, showing the reflective surface of a lake in...well, was that sunlight? Or something unearthly? Sharpie halted at the sight. The sparkles confused her.

Celestia held close onto Sharpie as she advanced into the cave. A few more steps, and she could see.. light? Then, something appeared to her eyes. The flow of water. "It doesn't really make sense. How is there water in a cave?" She said. Yet, everything in this arena made no sense. There are no dinosaurs left in the world. But, apparently there are. Or.. were they a figment of the tributes' imaginations. Not knowing or caring, she stopped. But her legs didn't. She looked down at Sharpie, who stood there now. "Its okay, Sharpie. Its just water. I hope. Water is yummy!" She said, comforting the dinosaur. Quietly now, she walked over, hoping not to see something scary and deadly.

Now Celestia could make out a full, still lake, glittering in what seemed to be a light from above, but what was beneath the surface was too dark to see. Sharpie blinked at the girl as she said water was yummy. But her eyes caught movement, and she dove towards the movement. The little dino pulled her head back after the strike, a creature still flopping in her jaws. Sharpie swallowed it.

Celestia smiled as it was lake. She knelt down to the water, ready to drink some of it. There was something towards the bottom, but the girl couldn't make out what it was. Looking to Sharpie, the dino wasn't near her. It was following something was moving. But, Celestia was not worried. The little dino ate it. The girl, however, couldn't know what it was, as she just noticed. "Did you chew before you swallowed?" Celestia asked Sharpie. Uncapping her canteen. She dipped the canteen into the water, scooping it into the canteen, then quickly getting it out of the water. Whatever was down there might not have wanted Celestia to do that.

Sharpie tipped her head to the side, as if Celestia had said the dumbest thing in the world. The water, however, didn't move, staying perfectly calm except for the ripples caused by the canteen.

Celestia smiled as Sharpie was dumb founded about what she had said early. Shrugging, she capped up her water and walked to the edge of the cave, hopefully trying to find another way around the lake. She looked over making sure Sharpie was still following her. Celestia put the canteen into her mesh bag, along with one of the stakes she picked up at the Cornucopia. Gripping the other stake in her hand, she continued to try and find a way around the lake.

Sharpie trotted along behind the tribute, her claws clacking against the stone floor of the cave. Celestia couldn't see much, but it seemed as if the cave floor would make it all the way around to the other side.

Celestia smiled as she saw her little dino right by her side. It was so dark in all the cavern, besides the.. light? Again, she couldn't understand why this was made to be this way. Continuing her walk through the cave, Celestia kept a close eye at Sharpie. The girl didn't want to know what would happen if you lost your dino.

The cave was silent except for Sharpie's claws and Celestia's own footfalls. Perhaps it was too quiet.

Celestia quietly advanced through the cave. It was so quiet, nothing could be heard but her dino's footsteps. Smiling, she kept walking. For a second, she stopped. It seemed unusual. There was dead silence for about five seconds. Gripping her stake, she kept moving. "I have a really bad feeling, Sharpie. Really bad. That in a few more steps, we're gonna have a mutt. A big one." She told her little pet, continuing to walk through the cave. There was no way it could be this quiet, you would be able to hear the lake swiftly moving. But, nothing.

Suddenly, Sharpie stopped moving, turned her head towards the lake. Perhaps it was a trick of the light but... was there a shadow moving in the depths?

Celestia looked back down to Sharpie again. He wasn't moving anymore. but he wasn't dead. The dino's head peered towards the lake. So did her master's. There was something.. moving! Gripping her stake even more, she kept moving forwards, alert and ready to fight something that obviously didn't want Celestia down there.

As Celestia watched, the shadow grew bigger, getting closer. Then a head shot out of the water, snapping at the tribute with powerful jaws. Sharpie squeaked in fright and darted towards the cave wall; she was too young to fight such a large creature.

The Elasmosaurus has 50 HP.

Celestia saw the shadow expand in its length, getting bigger. Until something rose from the water, the girl thought it was only a trick. A big dinosaur came towards the girl. Celestia dived out of the dino's way, making sure Sharpie was alright. "Sharpie, stay there until this is over!" She shouted, stabbing at the dinosaur. Smirking at the huge thing, Celestia continued in a fast pace, staring right into the mutt's eyes. "Let's play."She said, putting on her game face. But the girl knew that things could only get crueler in a game of life versus death.

Sharpie nodded at the tribute; as if she'd join the battle anyway. The giant creature was silent as it tossed its head away from the girl's stake. Then it shot its head forward, jaws snapping, teeth gleaming in the eerie light.

Celestia smiled at her pet Sharpie as she still wasn't hurt, neither were. The mutt quickly dodged her attack. Shrugging it off, Celestia smiled. "Your- It swung its head towards her again. She hit the deck, hoping to counter the mutt's attack yet again. Getting up, she slashed at the mutt, again staring right at it's eyes. She didn't feel bad for the creature. If it were to harm any of her friends or allies, she'd kill it in a heartbeat for them. Grinning she looked over to the mutt. "Your turn." She said, grinning. Celestia wasn't going to let a huge dinosaur get in the way of herself winning. She wasn't going to let anybody stand in her way of that. Of course, anything works too!

The creature parted its jaws in a roar, but no sound came out. It was bleeding now, it wasn't very happy. So, naturally, it snapped at the tribute again.

Grinning at her attack, Celestia felt the dino's ram at almost the same time. Taking a few steps back, she decided to finish it off. Poor little dino. He doesn't deserve to die. He was just a poor little doll for the Game Makers to play with. Now its going to be abandoned. Too bad. Celestia ducked the mutt's attack, quickly getting up afterwards. She slashed her stake at the beast.

The creature's head dodged away again, then it shot back in another attack.

Celestia, now getting annoyed with the mutt, quickly continued the attacking routine. She ducked, hoping to block the mutt's annoying attacks. "Why can't you just die." She said, quickly taking a stab at the mutt. She was ready to get this over with. Grinning, she looked towards Sharpie, making sure her dino was still okay.

The creature tried to dodge, but was hit square on the skull. In one last effort, it went into a frenzy of snaps before sliding back into the water and gliding away.

Celestia smiled as the mutt died. But suddenly, it flailed around. The first flail the girl wasn't prepared for, and she got hit. A little blood now showed. Expecting the next, she hit the deck, ready to block it. "Talk about Dino Rage." She said, laughing.

With the mutt gone, Sharpie trotted back over to her master. It was silent again, the water was still.

Celestia smiled as the dino retreated from the area. Panting in breath, Celestia called out to find her little pet. "Sharpie! Come out come out wherever you are! Come on, girl. I wanna see what's at the end of the cave!" She said, search around. Taking a few steps forward, she looked for her. Did she run off? "Please! Sharpie, I miss you.." She called out, sighing.
