Vi knew how to use weapons. She had trained with them for years and the sight of people using them had a sort of calming influence, a thing of familiarity. So she knew that training with weapons for one more week would not make her any better then she was now, she had to do something practical and learn something that she did not know inside and out. Which is why she had came to the edible items station. Vi grinned as she was greeted by the instructor at the station because she was not there for its intended purpose. She knew most of what was safe to eat, but she wanted to know what kind of effects some unsafe foods would have on a person and she believed that she could do it without anyone noticing, she could be quite convincing in her acts. She figured they would just think she was not bright, just the dumb, pretty girl from District 2.

Walking around the training center. Jaden pretty much knows everything about anything about servival. But edible plants has always been her weakness. So tedious in the training room. She quietly observes as another tribute is trying her hand at the task.
