| Stella had been up since quite early that morning, working on a project for an old woman. The darn lady had given her such a torn apart thing that she was still working on it even after three days. Ugh. She decided to take a break, look at the clock. 10 AM. Where was everyone? Sure, it was Saturday, but still. Why not get up early?

| Axel woke up, one arm slung over the side of his bed. He decided to go back to sleep, and went to roll over. However, in his sleepy daze, he rolled the wrong way and off the bed. He landed with a solid thud and groaned softly. He stood up slowly, yawning, and scratched behind his shoulder. He was wearing a white undershirt and black, grey, and white plaid pajama bottoms. He drowsily opened the door to his room and walked out into the hall. He walked into the living room, noticing Stella and smiled. "How do you get up so early...?" He asked, too tired to laugh. | |

| Macki sat on the living room's couch, writing. When he wasn't drawing, the boy was writing about every little thing in life that mattered to him. This time, however, he was writing a story about how life lives on after death. It was about a boy who died and couldn't find his way out of the deadly labyrinth. Mac didn't know exactly how it would end. It was still early in the morning, the sun glared in his eyes. Arc didn't know what to think.. he didn't know which way to go.. He wrote down on the piece of paper. Out of everyone in his family's way, Mac was distracted about every little noise that was made. But he lived with it. Mac continued writing, until a voice was heard in the corner of his ear. He looked up from his pad of paper, and watched Axel come down the stairs like he just woke up from bed. Which Axel always did, he didn't really mind. Arc went straight, then took a left. Dead end. He went back, and took a right. Dead end. The same happened with the left. Maybe there was no answer.. Macki wrote down quickly on the paper. Suddenly, he heard something similar to a mocking laugh. At first, he was just confused, but then, he knew. He walked right into a wall, and he didn't hit it. That was the way out of the first task! He wrote down. He kept quiet with all the dialogue, and Arc was alone on his journey through the labyrinth. Maybe they hadn't noticed he always woke up early, because Mac was so quiet. But he liked not being noticed. He was out of everyone's way, which was good. He didn't feel like listening to his siblings yell for him to get off his face and do something productive. The thing was, Macki though this was productive. It as what he wanted to do with his life. | |

| Jac stumbled into the front door sweaty and quiet. He breathed deeply and ran his hand through his hair. His green eyes swept the room softly seeing several couches and pictures popping against the yellow walls and the dark cherry wooden floors and frames. The lights in the room were dim but it was early enough in the day that the sun was bright and gave everyone plenty of light to see by. He scanned the room for anyone else that was up, he scanned the winding staircase, the dining room in the back, and then his eyes finally landed on his brothers dark form hunched over the desk. Looking past the slender kid he could see both his sister still working on her patchwork thing she always does, and Axel. Axel was cool, but they never got close. Instead Axel got close to Stella and that was all he knew, besides that he was adopted and his parents never spoke about why they adopted him but Jac wasnt nosy... that much. He breathed and walked over to his brother bending over his body reading what he was writing. It was pretty intriuging somehting about a boy named Arc and a labyrinth. Listening to the slow and quiet scribbling of the penicl over the paper adn he read along to his brothers story. Arc didn't know what to think.. he didn't know which way to go... Arc went straight, then took a left. Dead end. He went back, and took a right. Dead end. The same happened with the left. Maybe there was no answer... Suddenly, he heard something similar to a mocking laugh. At first, he was just confused, but then, he knew. He walked right into a wall, and he didn't hit it. That was the way out of the first task! Smiling he slapped his brother on the shoulder and stalked off to the kitchen to find out what the rest of his family was doing. Sending a hand through his slick hair, he eyed both of his siblings. Stella was sitting but he could tell that she was still taller than him, which irritated him to the last nerve, but she moved quickly and was professional with the speed and efficiency that she did any of her seaming. However his brother, with his brown eyes and dark brown hair he stood there looking like he had just woken up. Thinking that he better leave the two to themselves he turned and trotted off back to his brothers side sending a good morning greeting over his shoulder. | |

| Axel noticed Mac sitting on the couch and Jac stumble through the door. Mac seemed to be writing and...well, who knows what Jac was doing. He looked back to Stella when she asked how he slept so late and he gave her an innocent look. "It's only nine in the morning..." He looked at the clock to confirm this, and saw he was wrong and then looked back at his older sister. "Or ten. Same thing." | |

| Mac hesitated before writing more about Arc's adventure to the Labyrinth, he felt someone touch his shoulder. At first, he nudged it away, looking back to see who it was. When he first noticed it was Jac, his twin, Macki smiled. After that, he just went on to focus on his story. As Arc walked into the wall, he heard laughing and smirking, giggling. It made the fourteen year old gringe. The laughs grew stronger, and louder, making his ears pop. Covering his ears, he ran through the wall. His eyes were closed, and he wasn't paying attention at all. Arc ran full feed into a wall. This time, it wasn't something you could walk through. Arc was knocked out unconscious. Mac stopped writing. For once this day, he has no clue what to write. He always knew what to write. He looked up, listening to Stella talk. He looked at he with such a confused face, like he had no clue what was going on. Macki had just started listening, so he had a dropped face. Then he listened to Axel start talking. He knew it wasn't ten in the morning. It was approximately 9:45, due to how far the sun had lifted so far in the day. Mac didn't say anything, however, because he'd get beaten up by Axel, or pretty much anyone that wants to target him. He peered his eyes over to Jac, waiting to see what he had to say. Mac decided that it didn't matter, so he curled up in a little ball, thinking of what to write. Arc tried to wake up, but all he could think of was.. Mac again paused. He didn't know who he was going to say, or what. He wanted it to be a person, but he didn't know whom the person would be. Who did Arc love? Macki had never really thought of it very. Shrugging his shoulder, he put the pad of paper in his back pocket. BTW: - OUTFIT:

| Jac looked back over his shoulder. "Me? where was I? I was doing... Nothing." Said Jac smirking towards his sister and younger brother. He turned on his feet, looking at his twin. No matter how much we looked alike he could never get used to seeing him. He was always properly dress, although this time the clothes were actually a gift from Jac himself, from their last birthday. Jac could see it clearly now, the calculations that it took to take each piece of clothing without anyone know, the simple speed and strategy he had to use to run across the rooftops, and then the easy escape route back to the house. He smiled and watched as his brother put down his pencil and curled into a ball. Noticing the unusual behavior of his brother he walked over and plopped down on the couch next to his brother. He laid a protective arm across his shoulders, but then took it back. Knowing that Mac knew his secret, would mean he would have to be overly cautious with his brother. He remembered the last time he had given a guy the wrong idea, someone who knew nothing of who he really was, but guessed it. He blamed it on bad sportsmanship but the black eye and broken rib were a result form much much more than that. "Mac Whats wrong?" he said, his voice filled with concern and his eyes shining with worry. | |

| Stella just shrugged, letting Jack off with his lame excuse. Her eyes returned to her work, which still wasn't near to being done. "Well, it certainly isn't the same thing to us adults," she said to Axel. After a second, she paused, uncrossed her legs, then recrossed them again, the opposite way. Mother told her that helped with circulation. Or something. "Don't you kids have anything better to do?" she asked, loud enough for everyone to hear. The room had gotten stuffy with all four kids in it. | |

| Axel laughed and said, "Right. Adults..." He grinned and went into the kitchen, going through the fridge. He found some milk in the fridge, took it out and was about to get the cereal when he had an idea. He went through the cabinets and smiled when he saw that they had the right ingredients. He took out the sugar, flower, salt, vanilla extract, butter and baking powder. He went through the fridge again and found a carton of eggs. He heard Stella ask if they had anything better to do from the other room and he called back, "I'm making breakfast...for me...and no one else. Unless you ask nicely." He smiled to himself and began to work on his breakfast, remembering one last ingredient and hoped it was in the pantry...and sure enough, there they were and he took them out, putting them on the counter as well. | |

| Mac curled himself into a ball even more, tired and bored from all his family fighting. To him, that was all they would do. But at the end of the day, he always forgave them. This time, he didn't know what to think. He felt an arm come on and off of him, making him laugh a bit through his nostrils. Of course, it was Jac. Mac liked having a twin who really got him. When Jac asked him what was wrong, he shrugged. "Don't really know. I can't really think of what to write." He said quietly, in a miserable tone. That's when his sister, Stella, must have blew a fuse. He jumped a bit in shock, and stared at her. He felt his back pocket, feeling his notepad and pencil. Macki got up gently and cautiously, walking into the backyard of their okay house. There were a few bushes and a tree there, right beside each other. He went to his usual quiet place, the mess of the bushes. Nobody really looked there unless it was harvesting time. He knew of only one person that would come out there and talk with him. Jac. Quickly and gently, he took out the pad of paper and his pencil and finished his sentence. Arc tried to wake up, but all he could think of was his brother, who he missed so much. He wrote it, then slipped it in his back pocket, where nobody would notice. He liked the bushes because they were in fact quite big and homey. | |

| Jac frowned and looked over at Mac. He listened to his brothers quiet mumbling and watched as he headed out of the house. Jac's mind raced as he tried to figure out what made Mac just stalk off like that, then he remembered what his sister had said about getting a life. He gave her a stern look and walked into the kitchen wiping his sweaty hand on his blue short sleeved shirt. Running his hand through his damp hair yet again, he marched into the kitchen and snatched an egg from Axels breakfast. Cracking open the shell he held hole to his lips, allowing the yellow liquid to drip into his throat. Smiling, Jac flexed his sore biceps and stretched his back. "Can you pretty pretty please make me and Mac something to eat? This mornings workout was rough, and I'm too tired to make it myself, plus you are always a better chef than me" Jac said as he headed outside.
As he was entered the outside he could feel the heat of the sun beating on his back, soaking his shirt. Jac sighed and looked around. It was only him and Mac, so he stripped of his shirt, leaving his toned chest in the open. Stretching his hands up he threw the shirt over to the side of the back porch. Trotting over to his brother behind the bushes he just watched him and smiled "I think Axel's making us breakfast" was all he said as he sat down and put a protective arm around Mac.

| Stella frowned as Mac got up and left. She never could figure out what she could say to not get him to run off. Thankfully, Jac went off after him. He'd help the situation; at least he would if he could leave Axel alone for five seconds. "Already had breakfast, kiddo. YOu got nothing on me," she said in response to Axel's breakfast taunt. She then placed all of her attention on finishing her work. | |

| Axel shook his head as Jac took an egg from him and smiled. "Whatever. Just don't waste any more of my eggs." He called after him as he walked outside. He got a large bowl and a small bowl out, and began to get to work on his breakfast. "Yeah, whatever...wakin' up early every day." He grinned as he worked, mixing together the ingredients in the large bowl and then the small one. He got out a pan and put some butter into it to grease it and began to pre-heat it on the stove. After a few more minutes, he poured the mixture from the small bowl into the large one and stirred the remaining components together. He kept stirring as he got out a measuring cup, pouring the mixture into it until it hit the 1/4 cups mark and then poured that into the pan. He let it sit there as he took a bit of a break from all that stirring. | |

| "Not hungry? How is such a kid who has undoubtedly been up or hours, not hungry? I'm I'm starving, and I'm your twin, shouldn't you be hungry too? Do you think I can telekinetic send you some of my hunger? Its eating me alive!" Jac gripped as he heard Mac's remark. He ruffled his twins hair, the one thing that he could only do. It was a sign of affection, and it was all his to give to his brother. "What's wrong? Do you really want to be left alone? I could easily leave... I mean I have to shower anyways" Jac remarked as he looked over at his brother a frown creasing his forehead. Jac moved his arm from the shoulder to the opposite side hip, pulling him closer taking him into a hug. | |

| Stella continued her work. "It's a fact of real life," she called. As Axel started his breakfast making, she was finishing up. She got a bit faster as the end came near, but the quality didn't stop. "Finally," she sighed, rising to her feet. She poked her head into the kitchen. "I'm going to go take this to Mrs. Heartfolley and get my adult money. Don't burn the house down. Or the orchards," she said before turning away and exiting the home, heading off to her customer's home.
Stella has left the topic for now (she will return later though, so don't get carried away) | |

| Axel shook as he returned to his cooking. "Yeah..."fact"..." He used airquotes when he said the word fact, but he smiled. By the time Stella poked her head in, he had four pancakes settled onto their plates and still had enough for double that amount. "Yeah yeah, keep bragging about being an adult...whatever." He watched as she left and sighed when the door closed, finishing up the last of the pancakes, stacking them on a plate. He took a smaller plate and put two of the pancakes on it and took out a fork and knife. He spread some butter on the pancakes and poured some syrup over his. He took his plate and utensils over to the table and sat down, sighing from the time that it took to make the breakfast. He cut into his pancakes and took a bite, sighing happily. "Nothing like chocalate chip pancakes in the morning..." | |

| Mac shrugged his shoulders as Jac talked. "Well, its exactly that. We're like exact opposites.. plus I ate earlier." He lied. The boy was just in need of sleep. Mac hadn't slept the night before, and was hoping he could sleep in peace. He laid down on the feet of his brother, and tried to sleep. He thought about Arc, and what he might have the little unconscious boy wake up to see. He closed his eyes, images that Arc met with a dead man, and a dead world. The boy was a bit frightened by his thoughts, so he curled up a bit more. | |

| "Yeah sure you did," For the life of him, Jack couldn't remember the last time that Mac had made himself breakfast in the mornings. It was Ok however, He was probably tired. Jac got his confirmation on that thought as his brother curled up on his legs. Placing a hand on his head, and stroking his hair, Jac watched the slow rise and fall of Mac's chest. Exact Opposites. The words rang like gunfire in Jac's ears. He knew he was different than his brother, not just physically or anything like that, but he was just different. so far he had told only his brother about his difference, and he wasn't sure what to do with life. Breathing a deep sigh, he continued hold Mac as he slept, sitting there in the shade of the bushes life seeming oh so far away. | |

| Axel was about half way finished when he realized that neither Jac nor Mac had come back inside. He sighed and got up, walking to the plate of pancakes. He got two plates out and put two on each, getting two forks and knives. He put one of each on each plate and grabbed the edges of the plate carefully. He awkwardly opened the door with his arm and walked out, looking for his brothers. After a bit of looking, he found them and said "Brought you guys breakfast. Eat it before it gets cold because I ain't makin' more." | |

| Macki nodded as Jac talked. The boy didn't even know what his twin was talking about, but all he knew was that it would be easy to do this. Just because he always thought his brother was gullible. Mac was dreaming when he heard a voice. Startled by this, he got up, making a rustling in the bushes. It was Axel. "Uhh.. okay. I'm not hungry though." Mac mumbled, laying back down on his brother's left leg. | |

| Jac smiled and grabbed the plate. "Thanks man you are my hero!! How was your morning so far?" he asked with his mouth emptying food. he loved the taste. It was perfect, just the right amount of fluff and baking. He loved the taste of the butter as it ran down his throat making him feel terribly a lone for a second. He really wished he could be cooking for someone important in his life, instead of his family. He was 16 for chrissakes, but he still felt out of the lope. He finished the pancakes and laid back against the dark stained fence and held onto his brother, who clearly did not get enough sleep last night. | |

| Axel smiled as he saw Jac take his plate of pancakes and dig in. "Glad you enjoy 'em man. And my morning hasn't been eventful really. Just made pancakes...pretty much it. Was sleeping before that." He looked at Matt and shrugged, setting the plate next to Jac and then took one of the pancakes for himself, carefully. "Well, I'll see you guys later. Gonna wait for Stella to get back from her "adult" stuff." He smiled and held a hand up in farewell and let them be, going back into the house and sat back down at the table, resuming his meal. | |

| Mac shrugged as his brother went to eat the pancakes his other brother, Axel, had made. The boy didn't like pancakes, and he still wasn't hungry. The boy got out of his hiding place and sat back at their fence with a few bushes. There were a few berries there. The boy picked a few off and ate them. His brother then came outside and followed Mac right to the place he was. Mac quickly swallowed as his brother came over to him. "Is it weird if I don't sleep? Like not all he time, but most of it." He asked, looking up at his younger brother. | |
