Travis looked at her as she sat up and looked away, still smiling, as she talked. He began to pick at the grass methodically and when she stopped talking he waited a bit before saying, "A madman? Come on now. That seems a bit harsh. And as for letting him run off, I have no clue what you're talking about. He did that all on his own." He was grinning now, looking out across the fields.

"Well, it certainly felt that way," Stacey said, giving Blitz one last scratch before she turned back to Travis. "And I saw you laughing about it," she continued, giving him a light shove. She was about to say something else, but a bleating interrupted her. Mary and her lambs were all looking at her with impatience. The girl glanced at her watch, realizing how much time must've passed. "Oh god, I've gotta take them home," she said, standing up. "Uh, nice meeting you. I guess I'll see you around," after a second, she went over to her sheep, picking up Mary's leash. " Thanks for not loosing them," she called as she glanced back. Then she left. Woot. Topic over.
