Will was hoping that he would get to fight Xav. Will had chosen a mace and shield, which to him seemed like a pretty good combination. He had been anxious for the fight since he signed up and knew Xav was too. He walked into the arena, looking around. He saw Xav and smiled...then he saw Rose and he got a surprised look...and began to laugh. "Well, this is going to be interesting, that's for certain." He twirled his mace in his hand and he looked between Xav and Rose. His gaze ended on Rose and he began to walk towards her...and then turned, sprinting towards Xav. He swung his mace at him hoping to land a hit and then turned to where both Xav and Rose were in sight. He raised his shield, preparing for an attack

Rosalie had he quiver of arrows strapped onto her back and and her bow neatly tucked in there. She held her dagger in her hand, and she saw the two boys, who were he friends. This was just a friendly contest though and one of them was moving forward. She had the real advantage in this fight though. Both guys rather fancied her and wouldn't want to hurt her. Especially if she gave them no reason to attack her, and the person who came out with the less damage done to them, won. This wasn't just fighting skills but you would use intellectual skills in this. Rose stayed at a far distance that she could and was in a defensive pose just in case.

Xav just shook his head as he realized who his opponents were. "They've certainly got a sense of humor, don't they?" he said. Why'd they all sign up for this anyway?. What is he-oh Xav thought as Will went for Rose, figuring it out and jumping to the side right before the boy turned back to him. "You'll have to do better than that," he said before returning the attack.

Will grunted as he missed and he twisted his body to dodge the attack. He began to walk around him slightly, and then went for an overhead strike. After that he backed up, putting his shield up to protect him from any other attacks. He noticed Rose doing nothing and he smiled. He whispered quietly, "Why do I get the feeling this is a fight for second place..." and with that he chuckled.

Rose smirked as Will seemed to be getting the idea about what was going on but she knew, what she could do if one of them were to attack her, she still had tricks up her sleeve, and she still knew how to twist it so she wouldn't be the loser and she could still move on. "Well, call it what you want, we're all just fighting here." Rose said softly and innocently. She still was watching her where abouts though.

Xav didn't really pick up on what was going on; he was too preoccupied with dodging the overhead blow coming towards him. "Come'on Will. I thought you of all people would be better than this," he said, slipping out of the attack quickly. He then proceeded to counter-attack.

Will grunted as he was hit and began to circle Xav again. He saw an attack coming towards him and put his shield up to try and block it. After that, he immediately came out and countered. He then started backing away and said, "I know...I think these weapons are a bit faulty."

Rose sighed, standing her doing nothing was absolutely useless and soon she had to pick and choose. They had to know this meant nothing, and soon, she kept her distance and put her dagger away and pulled out her bow. She notched an arrow and aimed it at Xav but then last minute faked out and shot at William.

Xav had to smirk as he side-stepped Will's mace. "And I thought you could make the best of any mace," he said, taunting his friend. It was at that moment an arrow went by his head, straight for Will. Xav shook his head as he realized Rose was in the fight now. He used that moment as a chance to sneak a hit in on Will. Tag-teaming could work.

Will smiled as Xav made his remark. He noticed Rose taking aim for Xav and smirked...until he realized the arrow was coming for him, and then he raised his shield to try and block the arrow. Then he realized Xav was trying to hit him and he rolled away to try and dodge the attack. He got up and said, "Oh believe me Xav...I can. Just let me get all these bad swings out of my system." and with that he swung his mace at Xav once more.

Rose stayed at her far enough distance and she grabbed another arrow. Maybe she could take Xav down a few pegs as well, but then there was Will who could obviously lose this. Then again Rose was on no side and this was a three way battle. Rose aimed and pulled back shooting her arrow at Xav.

Xav grinned as both weapons met their mark. He cast a glance at Rose, only to see that she wasn't on anyone's side. He jumped out of the way, getting a little closer to Will as he did so, only to have to put up his shield against his mace. Xav countered now, being close enough to do some real damage.

Will grunted in pain once more as he was struck by both weapons. Those were definitely going to bring him down a lot. He noticed Rose shoot her arrow at Xav this time and Xav made a clumsy attack on Will which he easily dodged. Will also noticed Xav's attack was blocked and he got a serious face on, going for another attack with his mace. Will didn't think he was going to win this at all...but he was going to bring Xav down as much as he could

Rose wasn't sure what to do again. She figured she'd alternate for now with nothing else to do and she grabbed another arrow. She notched it and she aimed and shot at William. Hoping this time she'd get an attack.

Xav shrugged. His luck had to run out sometime, right? But he still managed to slip out of Will's next swing. "Still got some bad swings to work out?" he asked sarcastically before swinging the dagger again.

Will noticed two attacks coming for him. He brought his shield up for the arrow and rolled out of the way of the knife. He hoped to have taken less damage then last time. He actually didn't know how he'd be alive. Xav asked him something sarcastically and Will smirked saying, "I may not get the chance at this point to be honest..." He then swung his mace at Xav once more hoping to land a hit
