Round One: Jameson Pindale vs Willow Sheridan

Jameson didn't really know what he was doing in a tournament. He hated thinking that he had to fight, and hurt, someone else, but he had decided to give it a go anyways. With an axe in hand, he looked at his opponent, a girl, around his age. He didn't know her, but she looked very concentrated. He was about to introduce himself to her, but the gong started, leaving him with not time to do that.

Jameson would've tried talking to her, but she was already aiming at him, great. He would've tried to dodge the arrow barreling towards him, but it would've missed him anyways. He took a quick glance at his axe and sighed. He had to fight now, return the favor or something. He ran towards her, not screaming or flailing his arms, but just running. He took a quick slash at her body and then backed off a bit. He left himself in a defensive position, to make sure he could be ready for what was about to come.

Jameson watched as she failed to block his attack, which made him grimace slightly. He hadn't meant to hurt her there, he had aimed for her leg. Oh well, what was done was done. He continued to run past her as he felt her trying to stab him with her knife. "Just so you know, since we're gonna be fighting for a while, I'm Jameson Pindale," he muttered, sidestepping so he could take another slice at her.

James didn't know how he let himself join this, but it wasn't bad so far. He guessed the girl wouldn't respond, but he had talked to quiet people before. He could at least learn her name, hopefully.
