| Summer once again reaches the Stormland area. With an injured stomach, she winces when she takes a breath. She remembers the place she is in deeply, because it was just a few days ago that she was here. She walks around the area with a loaded bow, looking for her shelter made of bushes. She looks inside carefully, and shimmies in. She makes sure nothing is in her cave in any way, then she opens her backpack. She pulls out the rodent, and smells it from far away. She cringes at the rodent in her hands. Must be rotten. the tribute thinks to herself. She sits up carefully, and chucks the smelly thing far away from her area. If there was one thing Summer was best at, it would be throwing things. Though, she didn't want throwing knives as a weapon for some reason.
Summer sets her bow and quiver on the ground. She retrieves her medkit, and opens it to grab the bandages and wonderful healing cream. She locates the wound in her side and spreads a quarter-sized amount on her cut. The girl puts on the bandages on, and gets out of her cave. She grabs her bow and arrows and sits on the ground. She looks through her med kit, and finds a small pamphlet on "How to Survive in the Wild." She flips through it, and finds a page on how to stay cool in high temperatures. She reads the page carefully. It says the most important thing she would need would be a water source. She glances at her still-full water bottle.
No... Summer thought to herself. It's not a lot for a good water source. She remembers her plans from when she was at the Stormlands before. Summer packs up her medkit and other supplies and stores them in her pack. The tribute then starts rapidly digging in the sandy ground, trying to reach an underground water source. Please, oh please work! The girl whispers to herself as she starts to dig faster into the hole. The sand under the ground starts getting darker, a sure-fire sign that water is near. The hole isn't that deep; probably only a foot below ground-level. Summer's face starts turning red of desperation as she digs for water.- Guest carried out 1 launched of one Heal(Other) :
OOC: Hey Gaz, try to post whether Summer finds water in the hole, if you'd like to. xD Thanks! Also, am I allowed to roll two "Heal" dice at the same post, if the post contains two acts of healing? Thanks again |

| Summer sighed. No water was coming through for her. She knew, of course, that the Gamemakers were trying to lead them to the Oasis like cattle. She removes one half of her bandages, applies more healing cream to her side, and replaces the bandages. She puts her hair behind her ears. It's getting dark in the arena, so she gathers her supplies and settles in her cave. Her eyes flutter slowly as the tribute falls asleep.- Guest carried out 1 launched of one Heal(Other) :

| Summer's eyes flutter open as daylight seeps through her cave. She yawns quietly, looking around. She notices that by the sun's position, it must be late afternoon. Summer scoots out of her cave and stretches. She whirls around as she hears a scurrying sound. One of those rodents again... Summer thinks to herself as she retrieves her bow and quiver. she slings the quiver onto her back and keeps an eye on the squirrel-like creature. The tribute whips out an arrow and shoots the animal square in the nose. Summer pulls the arrow from the kill and shoves it back into her quiver. She picks up the animal and carries it back to her shelter.
Summer opens her medkit quietly and pulls out the book. She flips through the pages to the food section. It says that the food must be cooked or boiled if it was caught in the wild to remove any bacteria. Well, boiling water is obviously not an option, she retorts to herself in her mind. She skins the squirrel carefully with an arrowhead. When the job's done, she lay the meat under the most powerful-looking light of the sun. She sits on the ground, watching the meat as it rises in temperature already. |

| Upon second glance at the meat, there seemed to be something wrong with it, the rodent must have been sick

| Summer glanced over the meat once again. She notices the light greenish tint to it. She gags as the rotten-meat smell returns. She lamely picks up the rodent, and throws it to the same direction as the last one. The tribute's stomach hasn't been rumbling lately, so she guesses that she's okay... She's also been taking small sips of water every few days. She digs in her bag a bit more, and finds the other half of a very light browned inside of an apple. She breaks it in half once again, and starts nibbling on the quarter of the fruit. She knew the apple was completely fine, because if it weren't it would have a dark shade of brown on the inside, and it would be mushy. Which neither of those properties were in the apple. So, she continued chewing on it.
Once Summer finishes the apple slice, it starts getting dark already. She thought it was only around 5:30 in the afternoon, but she remembers there's something about the clocks at home. She gathers her supplies once again, and stores them in her cave. She slips her bow and quiver off her shoulders and carefully lay them beside her. She then settles herself down now. She looks at her weapon and grips the handle of the bow. Silently pulling an arrow from her quiver and notching it, tiredness overpowers her. The tribute's eyes gently close themselves as Summer plans on keeping her eyes closed for as long as she needs to. OOC: Oh okay. Thanks for letting me now! Also, sorry I've been making quite a few mistakes. This is obviously my first games, aha, so I don't know some things that I should. I might have to read the rules again Sorry! |

| Summer flinches as the sounds of thunder roaring through her ears. She sighs. She knew there weren't storms in the desert, so something was up. Is this a trick from the Gamemakers? Or is this natural? Summer collects her belongings and stands up. She starts jogging in a new direction, preferably a path that she hasn't taken before. She doesn't know why, but she wants to find Jennifer for some reason... Summer takes a pain-reliever pill, one that she hasn't taken from in at least a week. She swallows it with ease, and she keeps walking, trying to not lead tracks again.OOC: Summer Green has left the area. - Guest carried out 1 launched of one Heal(Other) :
