| Rafe TerrnRafe sat in the main lobby area of the floor, arms outstretched on the back of the couch and with his legs crossed, ankle resting on his knee. He waited patiently for the tributes, whom he had left to themselves on the train. No use interfering too soon. The voice of course, wanted to put their ideas into the fray soon, but even it knew better than to be rushed with it. The tributes, Astrid and the boy, Anders, would come to him. While you'd think Rafe would be uneasy with Astrid in the games, he was fairly confident she would be fine, and having the voice around again gave him an unnerving sense of calm. He wasn't sure if that was good or bad at this point, but it was certainly better than pacing and freaking himself out about the possibilities.

| The high speed train ride was only the first leg in this journey that was the Hunger Games, though it was certainly a very comfortable start to his journey. Even though he had been picked and even though there promised to be plenty of bloodshed in his future Anders had actually gotten a good nights rest. Compared to his home back in District 2 the train car was like a mansion. The bed was soft unlike the poor excuse for a cot that Anders slept on every night. And there were showers, not just a poor excuse for a faucet and cold water to drench you. There were definitely perks to being chosen as a tribute, though most would probably not see it that way.
The duo of Anders and Astrid reached the Capitol but were separated after each one had their own things to attend and be shuffled to. But finally after long last Anders was able to go up to the District 2 floor of the tribute tower hoping to maybe get some rest. But after opening the doors and seeing who sat waiting there he knew that sleep would have to wait for now. "So someone finally decided to make an appearance." Anders grinned a little as he stood leaning against one of the elaborate pillars that were situated in the room, and crossed his arms.

| Rafe TerrnRafe smirked, so it was going to be a sarcastic working relationship. "Yea, they lured me in with the food, its hard to resist" he retorted. Contrary to his statement, Rafe didn't even have any food with him, he'd only eaten once on the train, too. "So, I'm going to assume I'll be mentoring you and Astrid separately" he said, getting the obvious out of the way right off the bat, "Its better for you that way, obviously" he added. Taking off of this guy's conversation on the train with Astrid, he was a ladies man, a player. Rafe couldn't really relate to that, but he could work with it. Definitely.

| Astrid had been busy with many things that day. Getting off the train many of the capitol citizens were waving to her and of course she always liked to make a good appearance, so she'd wave to them flashing them smiles. As soon as she was taken into a building that was when stylists had to do their work on the district kids as usual. Astrid met her stylist and eventually they had her done up for the parade. It was a long night but finally she came back later that night, an the stylists helped her get out of the clothing she was placed in. Astrid didn't even care she let them do what they wanted, finally they gave her something to change into. She quickly changed into the comfort of the clothes, she could tell the material was soft. They just brushed through her hair making sure all the tangles were out and then they had let her go, finally. Astrid just wanted to go and be with Rafe, that was the only thing that made her even try to give her a good rep.
Astrid went up to floor two, which was where she'd be staying. When she got there she entered the room and she saw Anders but then she saw Rafe and she smiled, she never really saw him much on the train but now he was here. Astrid walked over to him and she sat on his lap and snuggled up to him. She didn't care who was around, Rafe was hers and that's all that mattered. "Hey Rafey." She said smiling, "What you guys talking about?" She asked.

| Anders smirked after Rafe responded to his statement in a just as sarcastic manner. Good, don't want to piss off the guy who has had some experience actually killing things. "Yea, I know what you mean. That's what got me into this mess." Anders of course meant the fact that the tessera he took was probably what landed him in this spot now, all those slips that said Anders Yorke just sitting in that large, clear bowl; it was no wonder he was picked.
Anders simply nodded as Rafe asked his question. It was like Rafe could read Anders' mind or something and just addressed the elephant in the room. Before Anders could reply though Astrid strolled into the room and got comfortable right in Rafe's lap. He didn't really care besides the fact that one of the people who wad charged with helping him was obviously biased. Anders wasn't going to say anything on it though, drama was just not something he tried to play into unless he had to. "Nothing too terribly important," he quickly said in response to Astrid. "And to answer your question Rafey, I think that would be best. I was actually going to suggest it myself." He continued leaning against the pillar but couldn't help but feel like the third wheel, which was not something he particularly wanted. "Am I interrupting? I can leave if you want some privacy." Anders asked as he pointed towards the doors for the rooms.

| Rafe TerrnRafe looked at Astrid and smiled, she knew how to make an entrance, he'd give her that. "Hey" he said back. When Anders asked if he should go, he looked over "Uhh, I dunno, I wasn't planning on making it awkward, some people just seem to have a talent for that" he said, glancing back at Astrid. He thought about it for a second. "I mean, we can just organize to have private lessons and stuff in your rooms, separately, that way the other tribute isn't stuck in their room staring at all the buttons on the shower" he said, thinking it was logical, he didn't want to tell Anders to leave or anything, it was up to the kid to decide.

| When Rafe mentioned that some people had a talent for making things awkward Astrid grinned, "I didn't try to make it awkward, I just do what I do." Astrid said and then she heard Anders speak about leaving, and Astrid sighed, "You don't have to leave, if anyone interrupted it's me." She said shrugging it off and then the other words from Rafe sunk in, "So we're being mentored separately?" She asked the two of them, Astrid personally didn't even care, if anything Anders needed more than she did, because to Astrid she already knew what she was going to do and how she was going to do things, she's known for awhile now. Astoria was her sister after all and then she had Rafe, although she wasn't doubting anyone from a career district, they all have trained since they were young. Astrid would leave if asked to since she was the last one in the room. | |

| The situation that nobody seemed to try and make awkward suddenly became very awkward and it seemed all three of them knew it. "No I didn't mean...eh nevermind. I just meant if you wanted to spend quality time alone then I can head to my room. Though I guess if that was the case you could just head to your room." Anders winked at no one in particular but in the general direction of the pair on the couch. "That works. I've never had a boy in my room before." Anders said jokingly as if he were a teenage girl or something. "Though, staring at shower buttons seems pretty interesting too," he added in. He hoped to break up the awkwardness in the room. "And yes Astrid, I requested Rafe discuss strategy and such separately, I'm sure you understand." | |

| Rafe TerrnRafe nodded. "It makes more sense to teach each of you separately." he said to Astrid. Looking around the room, he noted that no one else was here, no attendants or anything. "One thing I can advise you on both now, watch what you say around these capitol people, the avoxes don't count here, they probably hate the capitol more than you do, but your escort, the stylists, anyone who is from the capitol, keep it tight lipped or they'll get angry with you" he said, glancing at Astrid a lot when he said it, because she was very vocal about things sometimes. "So, who wants to start getting mentored first?" he asked.

| When Rafe mentioned the whole separate thing, "Yea makes sense, I don't care either way." Astrid said shrugging and then she heard him trying to advise them on things and Astrid rolled her eyes a bit. "Don't worry." She said, noticing he was looking at her a lot during that sentence. "I was a good girl today, I didn't say anything, ask the stylists." Astrid said and then sighed a bit, "It was difficult though, I will say." She said smirking, and that was when he was asking to see who was going to go first. Astrid didn't care and she looked over at Anders and smirked. "Well Anders is dying, to have a boy in his room." She said as a joke, obviously. | |
