Greta had been walking around the forest for sometime, it was silent today except for the birds and she smiled as they sang their songs. Eventually Greta started to sing along with them as she danced around in the forest. She loved the outdoors and she was of course barefoot like usual. She had picked up some flowers and eventually weaved them until she had a flower crown and she placed it on her head. She continued to sing and dance until she hit the tree and fell down. "Owe." She mumbled rubbing her head.

Daniel was walking around the forest. He was...relaxing, after a couple hours of work. He had exchanged his work uniform for his leather jacket and jeans. It felt strange. Going back somewhere he almost hated. He sighed, and reflected on his life. His dad would make him train as soon as he got back...he was going insane. Daniel could tell. He eventually saw a girl on the ground and got a puzzled look. "You alright?" he asked, wondering how she ended up on the ground.

Greta had been on the ground for sometime before someone came over to her. She managed to just stay there and she didn't bother moving because she was looking up at the trees She was fine with nature watching and then she heard a voice and her eyes shifted to the boy who stood there. "Yea, I'm alright, just bumped into the tree." She said giggling.

Daniel was...still confused. She was just...sitting there. It was a bit weird to him. And she giggled...that told Daniel she was probably a bubbly type. It didn't really bother him at all but...he was a bit jealous of people who were carefree. "Then why are still on the ground?" Despite the fact that he was confused, he still couldn't help but smile.

Greta looked up at him and she watched as he asked her why she was still on the ground, then she saw him smiling and that a brought a smile onto her face. "Well, I was hurting a bit but then I looked up above, and it looked so pretty I just decided to stay there." She said and then she looked at him and then she thought for a moment. "You should join me." She said patting the ground beside her. "I'm Greta by the way." She said with a smile on her face.

Daniel thought for a moment. He shrugged and said, "Alright." He sat down next to her and said, "Nice to meet you Greta. The name's Daniel." So far she thought she was a little strange, but that wasn't a bad thing. It's nice to meet people that are easygoing like that.

Greta looked at him and she was glad that he took a seat next to her. Not many people would, they'd make up an excuse as to why they couldn't, secretly that hurt her feelings sometimes, but she just let it go, considering she didn't like to be upset or mad. "Nice to meet you too, Daniel." She said and gave him a smile. "So, what are you doing in the forest today?" She asked him.

"Just taking a stroll through the forest. Nothing to interesting...just gotta relax and clear my head...what about you? What are you doing the the forest?" He was kinda glad he ran into her. It was good to talk to someone else...got his mind off of things. It also calmed him in a way.

Greta nodded. "Sounds like a decent enough reason." She said and then he asked what she was doing out here and she began to laugh. "I live out here, silly." She said and shook her head lightly. "The forest is basically like a front yard, back yardish kind of thing here." Greta said and then she grabbed her pile of flowers she had picked and she began to weave then again. "So, how old are you?" She asked.

When she said she lived in the forest that seemed really strange to him. Either way, he didn't care. After all, he had a dad that wanted to send him off to his death. His home was probably worse. He stopped thinking about that and said, "Oh, I'm sixteen..." He watched her weave, a bit intrigued.

Greta had been focusing on her weaving and she had been sticking her tongue out as she did it, it had to be just right, one little mistake then it'd be all wrong and you'd have to start from scratch. Soon he mentioned that he was sixteen, she looked up and smiled at him. "Me too!" She said and she was rather excited now.

He smiled. She was getting excited, he could tell. He may have found her strange, and he was sure others did too. But, as he had thought before, he didn't care. "What a coincidence!" He was smiling again. He hadn't been able to have a real conversation with someone in a while.

Greta kept grinning and he couldn't help it. "It's so nice to meet people my age!" She said and she was beaming with happiness. Soon she went straight back to her weaving until she was done. "There!" She said and grinned, "Maybe I crown you?" She asked holding up the flower crown she made, it was similar to the one she was wearing but it had it's own differences.

Daniel couldn't stop smiling for some reason. He watched her go back to her weaving, all most zoning out. Next thing he knew, she was done and she was asking to crown him. He shrugged and said, "Sure, why not? Always wanted to wear a crown..."

She waited for his answer and she was just hoping that he'd say yes. Soon he told her sure and she was so excited and she smiled brightly. "Yay!" She said all cheery like and then she placed it on his head. "See, now we both have one!" She said with enthusiasm. "thank you for sitting here and hanging out with me today." She said smiling. "It means a lot, most people run in the other direction." She said.

He felt her place the crown on his head. She was talking about how they both had one and that most people would run away. He said, "Well whoever runs away from you is missing out on a good time." He was still smiling. He hadn't been able to talk with...well, anyone is age in a long time. Unless there was someone else his age working, but that didn't count considering they were too busy chopping down trees to talk.
