I stirred lightly in the sleeping bag. My dream.. well my dream wasn't exactly happy or sad. I saw Milo, obviously it must have been after the games, he was holding someones baby. The look of happiness and excitement I've never seen before. The woman he was with though, it wasn't myself as I would so hope. It wasn't anyone actually. Just a blank face.

~I want to end this games right now...but I kinda have a tight schedule. I'll bring Ken in maybe after this Holy Week. You think that'll be alright?

-Just as long as you don't leave entirely that's fine.

Milo crept forward stealthily, using the same technique he'd used when escaping from numerous Peacekeeper captures or stealing from them- lightly placing the toe first and carefully rolling the foot down to the heel. When the weeds reached his waist, he stopped. He didn't know what was waiting for him. Deep breath. And he stepped forward...crack! The sound was like a cannon in Milo's ears. He'd stepped on a loose twig.

-I'll give Tethys a chance to post.

~Big dramatic entrance for the upcomming fight scene! I want to end it already. Sorry for popping in!

Ken's head snapped up. How long has he been walking around, heading to no where in mind. He could even had walked into enemy territory and wouldn't notice until the last moment. He took one sharp breath and crouched forward and readied himself. So far, sounds came out of the woods to his right. Ken leaned forward behind a tree and saw something. or more like someone. It was the larger pack! Ever so slightly, he took out one knife and became wary, ready for a fight.

-Tethys! You're under attack! I'll give you a chance to defend yourself, though.

Why would I wake up, I haven't heard anything o.o

Ken peeked through the tall bush, surely, there was indeed a larger pack. One was looking like he was hunting, while the other stood guard, and one was clearly sleep.ing. Oh, how easy it would be to drive a knife to her heart. And then, Ken caught himmself? What was he thinking? That would be horrible to kill someone, much less a girl!

Ken stood motionlelssly through the tension. Surely, another idiot of a tribute had gotten their attention. He watched as the one 'hunting' creep over some tall grass. He smirked. It was bad to be in that tribute's shoes. And then, he saw her. Partially hidden in the tall grass, Fern lay asleep. He cursed under his breath and looked at Fern intently, as if his gaze could wake her up.

So, as soon as the other tribute raised his spear, he charged with a knife from his belt. "Dammit Fern! Wake up!"he cursed under his breath, hopeful that the sleeping girl wouldn't stir.

Ken raised his dagger, having 4 left in his belt. These little things were good for throwing, yet they could keep swords and spears busy. Throwing one, aimed directly to the sleeping girl's heart, he still had time to pull up a second one. Not looking if his aim hit it's mark, he lunged directly to the boy who'd kill Fern. "Not today." he hissed, lunging for his torso, eyes crazed and he seemed horribly blood lusty for a guy who'd thought he'd die in the games.

~Was it alright to say that? I feel bad.

~I think that's my first attack on someone. O.O

-Whoops, thought I'd done something already, Ill do it now.

I eyes widened and my instincts wanted me to attack, but that would leave Brook, I put my hand over her mouth to keep her quiet and shook her lightly to get her up, lightly, but intently. I knew I had to help Milo, but there was too much danger to let Brook stay asleep.

~You can only attack once per turn :p


My eyes flew open, Jacob was standing over me, Milo was gone. I tred to scream, it felt like he was about to kill me. But no. His weapons were in a threatening position. Finally I took his hand away from my mouth. "WHERE IS HE?" I hissed a tiny bit angry.

-Haha don't feel bad. This is war!

There seemed to be an explosion in Milo's chest. He'd been attacked. So Jacob was a traitor. He landed hard on the ground next to the other tribute. For a minute he lay still, but he thought of Brook, sleeping soundly. He shot upward and wrenched the knife out of his chest. Gasping in pain, he searched the ground for his spear...there! He grabbed it and climbed unsteadily to his knees, then to his feet. This sleeping tribute would have to wait. He was going to kill Jacob. He only hoped that he could do it before he lost too much blood. His eyes flew to the place where they had camped, but to his disbelief, Jacob was trying to rouse Brook. That's when he knew it. There was another tribute at play, besides, Jacob didn't have throwing knives. He wondered if the sleeping girl was actually a decoy, a way to split their alliance apart. Milo knew he could waste time trying to find the enemy, or he could protect Brook. He sprinted back towards the camp, painfully aware at how he was a moving target.
