Private Sessions!

Rafe entered the Training Center for his private session, he glanced around the room while heading towards the Swords Rack. He was unable to see what the District One tributes had done, there were no indicators in any of the sections. He shrugged it off, he wouldn't need to know their weapons strengths to kill them. He quickly grabbed the two Cutlasses from the rack and went to work, without bothering to check if the Gamemakers were watching, he was a Career, they would pay attention. He quickly began slashing open the dummies as he walked among them, before taking it up a notch. He spun, slicing a dummy in half, and used his crouching position to power off the ground, flipping over the dummy behind him and cutting its arms off in the process, as he landed he cut off its head and stabbed it in the back.

Rafe then turned towards the Ranged Combat Station and Threw one of his Cutlasses at the nearest target, probably 30 feet away. The sword flipped through the air and sunk itself into the third ring, an inch deep. He smiled, he’d neglected to tell anyone that he had a knack for throwing things quite well. He punched the head off of a dummy, running past it to the ranged combat station, and threw the second cutlass like a javelin, this one hit in one of the farther rings of the bull’s-eye, as swords weren’t very accurate when thrown like that.

Grabbing a spear, Rafe judged its weight in his hand, he’d never thrown one, but if he could throw that sword and hit a target, this should be easy. It was light, Rafe glanced about the Training Center until he saw a hanging target across the room, high up. He hefted the Spear and launched it. It glided though the air, piercing the target near the center and continuing through it, leaving a jagged hole. Rafe then decided to go out with a preview and headed to the Survival Station, he grabbed a box of matches and worked on lighting one as he strolled over to the dummies, as he got to them, he got a match to light, he punched a deep hole in the torso of one of the dummies and tossed the lit match in, before walking away. He could hear the flames spread and consume the dummy. He waved to the Gamemakers, “I’ll see you in the Arena friends”.

Rebecca had been waiting her turn. She sat down in the room and previously that day she had eaten her lunch and everything. Now all the tributes were waiting to be called in one by one to do what they had to do to get a very good, decent, or terrible mark. Being from a career district, Becky had a bit of an advantage, that meant the gamemakers would be watching her more closely. The districts 1 and 2 had already gone, as of the moment it was just her and her district partner and all the other districts behind them waiting for their turn. Becky knew that her district partner was next and then her. She wouldn't be the last one but she had no idea as to how all the other ones were going and she was starting to plan out what she wanted to do in regards to her own private session.

That was when they had called in "Finn Crest." One more until it was her turn to shine and prove what she had. She had no idea what Finn was going to do. She hadn't spoken to him a lot about things all they knew were they were all allies for the careers. Becky still tossed a few things in her mind wondering what to do and how to do things for her private session, should she do a large variety of things? Or no? Should she use all the things she knows? Or keep some of it secret? Becky had absolutely no freaking clue at all and she guessed she may know as soon as she walked into the door.

About an hour later the called her name. "Rebecca Harrison." This was it, this was her time to go into the room and go and prove what she could and couldn't do. She didn't have any problems right now, no nervousness, no nothing. She just had a smirk placed on her face as her mind self consciously told her "Don't fall." This was true, back in district four she had naturally been a clumsy girl and she had never really done much about it. She just didn't care about foot placement there. Here it meant the whole world of difference and it made a big deal on her score, which her score had a big impact on the games and who targeted her, who feared her, who looked down on her, it may have just appeared to be a number but it had a lot of meaning in regards to the death match it's self.

Becky walked into the room and she had her head raised high with confidence looking in one direction, knowing where she was going and while the same time took in everything else as she walked in and her whole plan had started to form quite simply. She walked up right in front of the gamemakers so they all had a good view on her. "Rebecca Harrison, district four." She said in monotone as she did and gave a small bow and came back up and did a small pivot looking around at she paused for a good moment closing her eyes as she got a feel for the room.

She then began to walk over to a rope tying station and she looked at the rope that was lying on the ground and she picked it up weighing it in her hands a bit as she did so. She got the feeling for the rope and observed what she could do here and how to go about this. She took the rope with her over to the knives and she picked one with a good sharp blade. She cut the rope in such a fashion that she dropped the knife where she was and ran over to another station and she made a fire simply and she used it to help keep her rope the way she wanted it and after she finished she grinned and put out her fire with her foot without the flames even bothering her as they flickered at her foot. Becky had just made a whip.

Going back over to the rope tying station she grabbed another rope and made a lasso and had an evil grin placed on her face as she walked so she could see the dummies and she was in good range. She began to whip one with great accuracy leaving cuts in the dummy its self. At the same time she had used her lasso and aimed it, the loop had fallen around the neck and she tightened it and tugged on the rope bringing the dummy down whipping it over and again.

Once she was finished with that she dropped her creations and then she walked over to the herbs sections and she gathered a bunch of them. She grabbed a water bottle while she was there and she drank half of it and then set it down. She grabbed the herbs she wanted and she began to smash them and mix them together and eventually they formed a powder. She emptied the water bottle and she put the powder inside it and she grabbed her lasso again and she brought it around a group of four dummies pressing them all tightly together. As she did so she tied the rope around them so they couldn't get out.

Taking the powder she created with a few simple herbs she sprinkled it around them in circle that also led to their feet. The powder surrounded the dummies and quite simply she grabbed two different wires and she started to make a spark, as soon as she made one it caught the powder on fire and it came around the powder and eventually burned the dummies and she grinned happy with what she had done. Lastly she walked over to the knives.

She grabbed three knives and she stood at a far away distance. She held one knife and she felt it and made sure she understood the blade a bit and got the right feeling for it. She closed her eyes and then in a quick motion and force she brought her arm back and extended throwing the knife at the bulls-eye and surely enough it head dead centre of it. Her eyes open now she grabbed the second one with more confidence she thrown that one with a bit more force and it hit just above her last hit. Now the last knife she turned and ran after a dummy flipping it over her back and then she held the dummy down with her knees as she made marks in the dummy before slitting the throat, getting up and kicking it over. She bowed and then turned on her heel leaving.
