Spencer ran for the first part of his journey but it seemed everyone had scattered. He hadn't really heard any one else moving near him so he slowed his pace to a brisk walk and decided to just enjoy the scenery. He hummed a little tune as he continued to move along when he reached what appeared to be the opening of a large cave. He tilted his head to the side and looked inside. He just shrugged and moved forwards waiting to see what would meet him inside.

The tribute found himself facing a split in the cave, he had to chose to go to the left path or the right path. Both were dark and somber, casting darkness over their paths to conceal what might be lurking.

Spencer looked back and forth between the right path and the left path. Hmm...which one to choose? He couldn't really see what was down either path and had no clue as to what would be considered a safer place for him to venture towards. Now it was just going to be a leap of faith so to speak. He decided to go with the left path. He started to walk down and see where it lead him.

The path taken eventually led the tribute into a big cave, it looked empty, but it was quite large, there could already be a tribute hiding in wait...

Spencer eventually entered into what appeared to be a large cave. It seemed to be empty but he didn't know for sure. If it was it would make a great place to sleep for the night and he would just move again in the morning. He began to hum loudly with his knife in his hand ready to strike if he needed to. He really didn't feel that comfortable using one but at least it was simple to use. If anyone was there waiting for a tribute to pop out they would be able to hear him and would most likely come out. He looked around looking and listening for signs of life.

Solange ran for a long time, uphill downhill, mud hill, and then she came along a structure that caught her eye - a cavern. She made her way up there to see two holes leading to two different caves. She glanced behind her to see only trees, and not a lot of movement in them. Solange cautiously walked towards a bottleneck road where it was swallowed by the cavern, taking small and slow steps and paused as she scanned the area first. After Solange felt a little safer she sat down slowly on the ground, sighing. She rested there for a few moments to catch her breath. She gulped in the air she needed and looked at the two holes that opened up in front of her. Was she too late? She knew that way more people ran off before her and would've probably found a place to camp for the night. Right now though, she didn't really feel like dealing with anyone, maybe she should just camp out here and hide if someone comes out. Only one way to find out. Solange stood up and the rush of dizziness caught her for a few seconds. She raked her fingers through her hair and walked a little as the dizziness disappeared by itself. Once her breathing was stable again, she took another long stare at the cave, keeping herself away from plain sight as she tried to see or listen into it. But sounds weren't coming from the cave, they came from the roads. Solange quickly slipped by the sides behind a tree and waited, keeping the dead silence going.

Pandora ran into the woods and continued running until she was almost out of breath. After taking a moment to rest and catch her breath, Pandora continued walking. I'll find some water or something to drink tomorrow, She thought, planning out what she would do the next day, conveniently forgetting that she might not even be alive the next day.
Pandora stopped once to check her items. She didn't plan on wasting one of her precious apple's that day, and would eat maybe half of one later. She took out her matches and saw that they were a simple 24-pack that Pandora's father would buy from the store.
Eventually, Pandora came upon a cave system. She figured that there might be water in one of the underground caves. She walked inside and listened, not hearing anything at the beginning of the cave. But there could always be someone who already walked in deeper. She didn't see any signs of another tribute, but no one would be that stupid to leave their stuff out when there was a chance that another tribute might come by. But to be careful anyway, she holds up her spear and slowly continues deeper.

Pandora arrived at the same two way split Solange had been at moments before, but was unaware Solange was hiding right outside the caves, and had seen her go in.

Domino walked on and saw a split. Which way to go? She had no idea. The small cave might be a better idea...she needed to find somewhere with shelter. Her hair eventually became dry and she was not shivering anymore. She decided on going left. Awhere ever left may take her.

Solange was about to step out when yet another person came along. She pressed her back onto the tree bark and stood absolutely still, hand resting on her bow as she waited for the new person to walk into the caves. She couldn't even remember when she stopped breathing. The moment there were no more sounds of footsteps around, Solange peeked out and sighed, letting her tensed shoulders sag down. Now she knew people were definitely inside those caves. She saw the first girl walk into the smaller cave but wasn't sure about the second one. The smaller cave seemed much quieter but it only made it more suspicious. The bigger cave on the left on the other hand, gave off muffled sounds, and then the swish of a weapon. There were more than one person, or thing, in there but were they the two from before? Solange pressed a shoulder on the wall of the bigger cave's mouth and cautiously took a step in. She hesitated for a moment, looking behind her again, because if someone else comes again, she'd have no choice but to run in. The bigger cave seemed to go all the way in quite deep, and the noises in the semi dark hole confirmed the presence of people. Slowly, she took another step in. Solange hoped she doesn't regret choosing sound over silence.

Pandora proceed to walk cautiously into the cave, and then soon came upon a split. Left, or right? Pandora wanted to avoid meeting other tributes, so she stepped a bit into each side of the cave. But from each side, she didn't hear anything. How long were the caves? How long did the sound travel? Pandora didn't want to walk into an assault.
And then almost out of nowhere, another girl walked by. She didn't seem to care to much that Pandora was there, and walked to the left. She raised an eyebrow, curious why the tribute didn't attack, or even acknowledge that she was there. Then, she had begun hearing steps coming behind her.
Dang, Pandora thought. These caves a pretty busy. Pandora quickly ran to the right, not wanting trouble with the tribute that had passed her by before.

Solange spun around the moment she heard something behind her and pulled her bow out, locking in an arrow at whatever that was here. She moved towards her right, away from the bigger cave, dealing with both would be way too much to handle at the moment. She kept her gaze at the figure that was quickly getting into the right cave just a little while before her. Solange remembered the girl, as she hid by the entrance, startled by the girl's sudden presence. All it would take was a second, one shot and she'd be able to get to her. Her fingers that wrapped between the notch trembled as she hesitate for a moment or two before. Solange could easily slip into the bigger cave, and deal with whatever shit that hit the fan inside and let her go. But she released the arrow. Why would she do that? She had no reason nor excuse but simply a selfish thought that came to mind - only one get's out alive; broken or not, but at least alive. She slung back her bow and drew out her sword that she hung under her belt by her back as the long distance became short. She walked up to the figure, not making a sound as she lifted up her sword. It was too dark to see if the arrow hit but not dark enough to cover to silhouette of their bodies.

The tunnel was much darker then Pandora realized. It would be harder to see another tribute, if anyone else was here. Pandora felt safe, she didn't think that someone would come in here after. Maybe the tribute she had seen would go the other way. That she'd pretend she didn't see Pandora at all.
But, Pandora was caught off guard.
An arrow grazed her arm, and warm blood began to drip out. Shocked, Pandora looked at her new wound for a moment, and then looked to where it came from. Ahead of her was the girl that she had seen before. And Pandora also realized she was the same girl from the training gym. Pandora never suspected her to kill her.
But then again, Pandora never expected herself to fight back.
Pandora could barely see the girl, and didn't even know her name. She grabbed ahold of her spear, and took a stab at the girl with her adrenalin rushing.

Solange closed in on the girl as her face became clearer. It was the girl from the healing station that day on training. She ducked low as the spear missed her, starting to ignore what was happening next door. Just how many people were in this cave? Solange's gaze hardened and slashed her sword forward, taking advantage of that momentum to grab her arrow that hit the ground after grazing the girl's arm. Her lips were zipped tight as the fight was silent from her end, the other fight happening was much louder than theirs. Solange looked into the girls eyes and felt a pang of guilt. She can't go soft now, if the Gamemakers want a fight, let's give them a fight.

Pandora heard loud noises coming from the other cave where the other girl had gone. Should I risk trying to run and take damage from whatever is in that cave? Should I stay and fight? Pandora thought. Suddenly, the girl is near her feet, but she only picks up her arrow that she had shot at Pandora's arm, which was still bleeding. The girl pulls back the arrow again and shoots it at Pandora, who steps to the side. Arrows can't change direction once shot.
Pandora take's her advantage, and goes to stab the girl again.

Spencer walked out of the tunnel towards the split with his pack slung over his shoulder and both knives secured firmly in his belt. He was humming, but stopped as soon as he could hear the sounds coming from ahead, most likely fighting. He peeked out, keeping himself hidden and pulled his hood over his head. He noticed Solange, the girl he met in the lunch room was there fighting a girl he had not seen before. I really should have learned names, oh well. He went to move, trying to keep himself as quiet as possible and get out of there. The confrontation back there was bad enough and he just needed to get out. Plus the idea of him being out of danger (well as much as humanly possible in the Hunger Games) sounded far better than the alternative.

From below after Solange picked up her arrow she saw the spear coming dangerously close to her, making her heart stopped for a moment. Solange sliced the air upwards with her sword, trying to hit the girl as she stood up and held the sword in one hand, and kept in defense in her other arm. Her attention was caught off guard a little as she turned to her left where the noises became louder than before. What was happening in there? Suddenly she felt glad that she didn't go into that cave. Maybe it was a good thing after all. She quickly turned her gaze back to the girl, not wanting to be attacked without noticing. Yet again, light footsteps made her turn as she saw Spencer try and leave the caves quickly. He was not someone she expected to see in these caves. Shocked, she turned back to the girl; a part of her decided to just let him go free, with other problems in her hands now.

Pandora quickly takes ahold of her spear and goes to deflect the arrow aimed strait at her torso. She listens in and hears that there was some other fighting going on. She looks around for an escape, upset that she let herself get cornered like this. She takes in a deep breath, knowing she won't be able to win this fight. After blocking the arrow, Pandora takes another stab at the girl, which she hadn't been to successful with in this light, and then while the girl is distracted attempts to get out while she still can.

A gust of wind shoots through the tunnel, throwing all the tributes off balance.

Solange tried to side step the jab as it came soon after she turned back to their fight, and swung her sword to put the girl's spear out of focus on her body. She crouched and brought her sword low on the girl. The fight was taking a while and Solange was starting to regret her decision but backing out wouldn't make much sense; she'd just make a new enemy for herself. But a strong gust of wind beg to differ. She could feel it pushing against them and Solange's hands scrambled to a wall for support before she almost fell over. Solange squinted and looked out of the cave's mouth, visible from the split. Where the hell did that come from? A storm could very well be brewing up outside, or maybe a tornado, or maybe even worse, one of those animal killing machines. She didn't like the thought of that. She shifted her gaze back to the girl, eyes widening, as if having some mutual questions on the source of that mad gust. She lifted her sword back up just in case, not really wanting to know. Maybe if they just focus on their fight, it would go away, like any naive child would believe.

Spencer started to run now that he had just passed the two other tributes. He had nothing stopping him at this point and he wasn't going to wait for that to change. As he started to run though a gust of wind blew past him knocking him forwards and sending him towards the ground. He didnt't let that stop him though. He pushed himself back up as quickly as he could and just ran ahead.

Pandora was looking for an exit still, when a sudden gust of wind came out of nowhere. It blew her hair up into her face, distracting her from the other girl. She heard a thud from outside, and guessed it to be another tribute fleeing from the wind, or debris of rock flying into the cave. But Pandora quickly regained her senses again, as the girl switched from her bow-and-arrow to her sword, and took another stab at Pandora. She attempted to push the sword away and then went in for another stab, hoping that the wind would leave a new exit for her.
