With a swift pull, Kaira pulled out a nice piece of seaweed. She put it in her brother's old fishing knapsack. Basically it was a backpack, only it was waterproof and helped immensely when storing the fish and other stuff-temporarily, of course.
She broke the surface and coughed a little, blinking the water from her eyes. She inspected the things she had collected: a bunch of seaweed for soup, some clams, and a few crabs with binded claws. She didn't want them to rip the bag. She began to scan the water and her surroundings, keeping her eye out for the docks. She didn't want to get stranded. Well, almost.
