the backstory,
Brief History: Zalia has a very violent history. Her mother was always kind to her, but her father was another matter. He often got drunk and was abusive. Naturally he only showed his true colours after he and Zalia's mother were married. Anyway, he was very drunk when he came home one night. Zalia was 14 at the time. When her father came home she was curled up on a chair, reading a book. Her father barged into the room. Zalia's mother said one small thing to aggravate him and his hands reached her neck. Zalia's mother was strangled in moments, Zalia's father was very strong. Zalia watched her poor, kind mother die and felt an overwhelming surge of rage and grief. She lept out of her chair and ashed her father against the stone wall. He hit his head and died of internal bleeding. The neighbours had heard the screaming of Zalia and her mother and had come to investigate. They saw Zalia sobbing in the middle of the room and her dead parents on the floor. They blamed the father for the murder of Zalia's mother and of himself. No one had the heart to blame Zalia. She insisted to live alone. She wouldn't live with anyone else. So the Peacekeepers let her live alone. She received money for clothes and food etc. and they made sure she had neighbours on both sides. That way if she ever needed help there were people around. Zalia has lived alone ever since.
the look,
Physical Appearance: Zalia is tall and lean. She has thin, wiry muscles that are surprisingly strong. Her eyes are a steely blue/grey. They are as cold, hard and as flat as stones. Hardly any emotion ever flickers in them. Zalia's hair is primarily blonde. It has brown streaks throughout it. Zalia usually keeps it out. She can't be bothered to do much more. When training Zalia obviously has to tie it up. Her eyebrows are the same colour as the brown streaks in her hair. Zalia has very black eyelashes that suit her eyes perfectly. Her lips are light pink and are fairly even, although her bottom lip is a bit fuller than her upper lip. Zalia has a flat somach and a slightly fuller than average chest. Her whole body is slender.

Personality: Zalia can come off as rough and a little viscious. She's definitely not the sweetest person out there. She isn't afraid to say what she thinks, especially if it's nasty. Her past haunts her. To cope with it she shuts everyone out. Zalia has very successfully built up a tough exterior. Nothing hurts her anymore. She can easily show no emotion. Zalia has gone from being a bright and happy girl to being a cold, hard person. Zalia has few friends; most of the ones she used to have separated from her when she changed. Only a rare few people have pierced her shell. Zalia has a very good mind. She is very smart. Once people see this they change their opinion on Zalia. Instead of cold and hard Zalia is upgraded to being cold and calculating. Most people who have a hard outer shell are nicer underneath. Not Zalia. She has completely changed. What she looks like is who she is.

the backstory,
Brief History: There's not much to say about Echo's history, not much at all. It's the stereotypical District 1 life. She had two loving parents who never fought. They always pampered and spoiled her since she's their only child. She was always and still is very popular. Everything except her grades is perfect for Echo. She loves her life too. Some people would be bored with it, but Echo likes the comfort. She's not very fond of going out of her comfort zone. But since she's so adaptable it's not very hard for her to go out of her comfort zone. Anyway, Echo's life has been perfect and she intends to keep it that way.
the look,
Physical Appearance: Echo is a very pretty girl, and she knows it. She is fairly tall, with long legs. She has learnt to strut around very elegantly by now, so she does that most of the time. Her arms are also rather long. Echo is very slender. She would probably be described as 'willowy'. Her skin is fairly light, but it has a slight tan. It's pretty clear as well. Echo would never be seen with any sort of blemish, she'd rather die. Echo has a pretty face, but it's not really extraordinary in any way. She has dark brown eyes that are of average size and shape. They aren't too dark that you can't see the pupils though. She has a pretty nose, slightly on the smaller side and a nice mouth. Her lips are a light pink naturally. Echo's teeth are white and straight. Her hair is mainly a dark brown, although there are some lighter streaks in it, in some lights. It is pretty wavy and tumbles all the way down to her hips.

the personality,
Personality: Echo is a bit hard to describe personality wise. She is an extremely adaptable person. Shes around mean people she'll become pretty horrible. But if she's around nice people she'll become sweeter. But Echo will never dumb herself down. She's not the brightest crayon in the box though, so that trait doesn't really matter. She is very social, so her personality always changes on a daily basis. It's not so bad that it's a disorder, it's just how she's made herself. Echo is very different at home than at school. At home she is sweet and pretty obedient. At school she's always chattering and gets pretty average marks. Sometimes they dip into the lower range.
The only thing that Echo always is is vain. She absolutely adores herself, aybe a little too much. Echo usually carries round a mirror. Her love for her appearance is part of the reason she decided to use a Folding Tessen. Half the time she's in the Training Centre she's just fanning herself to get her hair perfect. But she spends enough time actually practising to be good. Since Echo is very vain she is also a big flirt most of the time.

Family
Mother: Emma Wilson. Emma is a very loving mother to both her children. Alessa is more similar to Emma personality wise, but Emma is still quite a bit louder than Alessa.
Father: Henry Wilson. Henry is rather loud, similar to Mariah. He is very strong and enjoys his work a lot. He does not understand why Alessa is so timid, but he does not act upon it.
Older Sister: Mariah Wilson. Mariah is currently 18, the last year of possible reapings. She is quite sensible and very confident. She is also pretty forward in her views and speaking them aloud. She is rather different to Alessa, but they still have a good relationship.

Goals
Alessa strives to be the top of her year at least once, and she is getting closer to that goal.
Relationships
Alessa does not have many friends, per se. She has quite a few aqquaintances who come to her when they need comforting. But she doesn't have any people who she is always around or socialises with on a regular basis. Alessa has a good relationship with her family, even if they always hog the attention. She doesn't really mind though.
Pets
Alessa has a Superb Fairy Wren who she has named Chirp. She found Chirp in the forest near their house one day. After climbing all the near-by trees Alessa had to admit that there were no other Wren's around. So she took Chirp home and nursed him back to health. After that he simply did not want to leave. Even though Fairy Wrens are not known for mimicking humans Chirp is very fond of this. He cannot do it like the mickingjays, but he can at least resemble the tune Alessa sings.

Personality
Alessa is a quiet girl. Her home is dominated by her two siblings, who are usually fighting with each other. As a result Alessa tends to fade into the background. She rarely speaks in groups of four or more people or when she's at the dinner table in her house. Everybody else chatters away and sort of forgets about Alessa. Ally is quiet by choice though, so she doesn't really mind the lack of attention. In fact, she welcomes it. Alessa is definitely one to shy away from the spotlight. She prefers to observe, rather than act. Generally, shy people open up once they get to know someone, but not Alessa. She is shy and quiet all the way through. When she makes friends Alessa is still relatively quiet. She never talks over anyone or interrupts people. This may be why quite a few people like her. Alessa is practically silent in her lessons at school. She is fairly intelligent, but this only revealed in her test results. During class she never speaks up or offers answers because she's just too shy. Most of the teachers think she just doesn't care and then are astounded by her results. But Alessa does care, and she does show it. People just don't notice her so they never see that she cares about her education. Alessa is a very sweet girl. Even though she is incredibly quiet Alessa is very kind and that is why people love her. She is the shoulder to cry on when times are hard. She never says a word against anyone and she always makes time for friends in need. The main problem with Alessa is her shyness, but so many people overlook this because of her sweetness. She never talks about her own problems, preferring not to weigh down somebody else. Instead she just wraps them up inside herself and pushes them to the back of her mind. Luckily Alessa doesn't have too many problems so this doesn't affect her that much. Alessa is not only shy, she's also deathly afraid of small spaces. They absolutely terrify her. It gets hard for her to breathe and she basically goes into a panic attack. Even when she's sleeping Alessa can't even wrap herself tightly in a blanket, she's so afraid. Other than claustrophobia Alessa is afraid of pretty average things. Spiders, snakes, etc. She wouldn't do very well on the Arena, not very well at all. She probably wouldn't even be able to kill anoher tribute. She just wouldn't be able to bring herself to end someone else's life. Life is a fragile thing, and Alessa never forgets that.

Alessa is avery skilled dancer and she has a sweet voice as well. Not that anybody has seen her dance or heard her sing, but she is still very good at the two.

Brief History
Alessa's family started out happily. They had their first child, Mariah. About a year and a half later they had a second child, James. Finally, a year and a half later after James the Wilson family had Alessa. She was born on a beautiful Summer's day. Since it was August Autumn was approaching. That meant that, although the sun was out, it was not blistering hot. Henry enjoyed his job a lot, and he was payed relatively well. He was the leader of a tree cutting group. Everybody in this group enjoiyed working under Henry, and so they made good profits. You can't be bad at your job if your all enjoying it after all. Emma stayed at home and cared for the children.She was a very kind mother and she always made time for each of her children. Even though you're not meant to have a favourite child Henry was particularly fond of James. He was his only son after all. So one day, when Alessa was about one, Henry took James to work with him. This was a stupid idea since James wasn't even three at the time. Still, Henry wanted to show his team his son. While they were chopping at a tree James wandered off. He wandered the wrong way, right under the tree being chopped. It fell to the ground with a great rash, with James still underneath it. At first, Henry didn't realise what had happened. He went off to search for James while the rest of the workers got to work chopping the tree into smaller bits. The tradgedy was only uncovered when one of the workers pushed aside part of the treeto find James' crushed body underneath it. The family was heartbroken, but they had to get over it. They had a one year old and a four year old to care for. Henry threw himself into his work, making more profits than ever before. Alessa doesn't even remember her older brother, and he is rarely mentioned. The only real proof that he ever existed is the few photos of him around the house...

General Description
Alessa is a rather pretty girl, but she isn't beautiful. Well, not on a daily basis. If you applied make-up and dressed her in something nice she would be beautiful, but Alyssa would probably never do that. She prefers to just stay 'pretty'. Pretty means that people won't give you a second glance, you won't stand out. She is a fairly average height for her age, although she's probably on the taller side. Alessa is fairly lightweight, coming in at 130lbs. She has a naturally slender build and not many curves. Her skin is a light olive-y colour. It is pretty much flawless as Alessa takes very good care of it. Her arms and legs are faily long, as are her feet and fingers. Alessa has straight, white teeth and lightish pink lips. Her eyes are a pretty dark brown in normal light. When they are hit by the sun you can see they are actually a hazel sort of colour. Alessa's hair is dark bron, or just brown in direct sunlight. It usually changes on a daily basis. Some days it'll be straight. Other days it can be wavy, or even from loose curls. It falls to the middle of her rib cage and is usually kept out. Alessa isn't very fond of tieing it up. Her eyebrows are rather thin and are the same shade as her hair. Alessa's nose, ears and eyes are all of average size and shape. Her face, overall, is kind of like a pointy oval shape.

the backstory,
Brief History: Kaia never talks about her past. She just can't handle it and has spent the past year trying to forget it. Basically it went like this. Kaia's family were all fishers, every single one of them. Her parents, her younger brother and Kaia herself. They owned their own boat with their own nets. Every morning they would go out and somehow manage to catch the best fish. Then they'd go down to the market and seel their haul for a couple of hours. They never had to stay past midday, by then all their fish was gone. For the rest of the day the whole family could just relax or train for the Games. But that all change one moring, about a year ago. Kaia had a cold that morning, and her parents didn't want her getting worse. They needed her to be at full health. So they left her at home and the rest of the family went out. Unfortunately a large storm came up while they were at sea. The massive waves caused by it upturned the boat and crashed it against some rocks. The Nereid family was killed and their boat sunk to the bottom of the ocean. It's still there today, but nobody can go and see it. There's always at least one shark around. It's like the place is haunted or something. Anyway, this even destroyed Kaia. She was 17 at the time, so District 4 decided she was old enough to live by herself. Kaia is terrified of boats now, but she still loves the water. She lives off the money her family has saved up for generations. There's quite a lot of it, but she really only uses it on things that are absolutely necessary.

Physical Appearance: Kaia is renowned to be a very pretty girl. She's aware of it, but doesn't notice it very much in her day to day life. She really just uses it for flirting. Kaia has clear, very light olive skin. It's not tan, her skin is naturally this shade. Kaia is on the taller side of the height scale. She stands at roughly 5'11" and she's pretty lightweight. Not because she's underfed, but just because Kaia's never eaten much and probably never will. Kaia also has long fingers and toes because of her height. This extends into her arms and legs as well. Although the length is more noticeable in her legs, lots of her height comes from them after all. Kaia's frame would probably be described as 'willowy'. She is slender and graceful, but also quite strong. For some reason her muscles don't really show.
Kaia is a pretty face, and she knows it. Her nose is of average size, as are her eyes. They're a pretty average shape as well. Kaia has long, pitch black eyelashes. They curl upwards at the end and suit her eyes perfectly. Kaia's eyes are a dark brown. They're pretty much black, but you can just make out the pupils from the irises. Kaia has lips that are a slight pinkish colour. They look like her skin colour, but lighter and covered in blush. Kaia's teeth are fairly white and straight. Kaia's face, as a whole, is simply pretty and welcoming. Unless she's angry or annoyed. Then it looks quite hard and cold.
And finally Kaia's hair. It goes down to the bottom of her shoulder blades, so it's kind of long. But it's long enough for Kaia to style in various ways. Her hair is relatively curly, but not too curly. More like loose ringlets. Kaia's hair is a very dark brown, almost black. It completes her overall look of browns and blacks. Kaia's eyebrows are on the thinner side and arch slightly. They are the same shade of brown as her hair, although they do look a bit lighter.

Brief History: Ariana and Hudson used to have a perfectly content life. Nothing was ever wrong, and Brian (their father) had a job that payed reasonably well. Ariana thought that this happy life would go on forever. She wanted it to, everything was just right. Her parents never fought, and she was pampered all the time. But her life did not stay like this. One day, Brian was in an accident at work. He, along with 5 other men, were killed. The family was destroyed by this. Juliana would not stop sobbing and Ariana just felt alone. It seemed like things would never get better. But then Julianna met Harry. She fell deeply in love and soon enough Ariana and Hudson were dragged into a new family. the backstory,
Brief History: Sofia has never been the smartest in her family, but she isn't the dumbest either. The order of smartness (in children) would go Horace, Shannon, Sadie or Sofia (they're usually pretty equal) and then Serafina. As long as she doesn't slip below Serafina in intelligence Sofia's parents are happy. Every now and then Sofia will pull a really great mark and her parents will be reasonably proud. Other than this there isn't much to say. Sofia and her family have never had to go without food because they are reasonably well off. Sofia hasn't really faced any hardships either.

Physical Appearance: Sofia is naturally beautiful. It's not like she'll end up in a modelling career or anything, but she's still seriously pretty. Sofia has very good skin. It is slightly tanned, with absolutely no freckles. Sofia doesn't want any either. Her hair is a lightish brown colour and either wavy or straight. It can't seem to make up it's mind, so it just alterantes on a daily basis. She usually keeps it out or in a ponytail or braid. Sofia has eyes that are usually green, but can appear hazel in darker light. She isn't the tallest girl out there, standing at 5' 5". She is one of the lighter girls, thanks to her naturally slender build. Sofia has a ready smile that reveals her straight and white teeth. Her lips are a darker pink than most naturally.

Personality: Sofia is a little bit shy, but not too shy. She's mainly shy with people she doesn't really know. Once she knows them she opens up a lot. That's when the real Sofia comes out. She's sweet, bubbly and a bit talkative. Loads of people love her, mainly because she is pretty and nice, which is a pretty rare combinaion. Usually pretty girls are mean and nasty, but not Sofia. Anyway, she does have a tendency to get annoyed at small things. But Sofia hardly ever gets angry. It would ruin her whole 'nice girl' image after all. Sofia is a very good actoress, and she loves being dramatic. Sofia is a pretty smart girl. She's not at the bottom of the class, but she isn't at the top either. Personality: Karma is one of the more toned down members of the Capitol. This is why she has only altered her hair and not even all of it. Karma is pretty confident around people. Physical Appearance: Aurora is quite pretty and petite. She is on the taller side of the height scale and is fairly light. Her eyes are a comforting warm brown and are framed by long black lashes. Her hair has been dyed a unusual shade of red (red velvet cupcake). It is pretty long, falling to the bottom of her ribs. It curls slightly, but not enough to be called curly. But it is too curly to be called wavy. Aurora's favourite accessory is her bright red lipstick. She will always have it on. Her skin is very light, but not exactely pale. She has slight dimples when she smiles.

Age: 30, she was 15 when she won the 12th Annual Hunger Games

How She Won the Games: Basically Marigold hid the entire Games. Most of the other tributes only saw her at the Cornucopia. Her arena was a giant forest. Since she was from 11 Marigold was great with trees. She hid up in them for the entire time, moving around so people wouldn't find her. And they didn't. The Careers had their final battle among each other even though Marigold was still alive. They had completely forgotten about her. Marigold used her sword to kill the surviving of the battle (the district 2 boy). It was actually quite easy.
Brief History: Marigold's mother and father died when she was very young, only a few weeks old. Marigold was an only child so she was a very lonely orphan. Until she was adopted that is. Marigold's adoptive parents were very kind and caring. Plus, they had already adopted three other children so Marigold was never lonely. Her adoptive parents also had more money than most so she was never on the verge of starving to death. All her adoptive family was very upset when Marigold was picked at the reaping. They honestly thought she wouldn't come back. After she did they all moved into the Victor's village house with her. All of Marigold's adoptive siblings are married now and, with the help of Marigold, have good houses. It's the same for her parents. Marigold herself resides in a Victor's Village house with her living husband Daniel.
Physical Appearance: Marigold is a stereotypical District 11 girl. She has dark skin and brown eyes. Her eyes are a bit lighter in color than most, but it's not terribly noticeable. Her hair is also very dark, it's pitch black in fact. It is quite silky and falls to the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her eyebrows are not black. Instead they are a dark brown. Marigold's lips are pretty close to skin color. But they are obviously much more pink. Marigold is of average height and weight. Unlike some victors Marigold has not let her body fall into disrepair. She is still very fit and her muscles are quite toned.
Personality: Being a tribute in the Hunger Games has hardened Marigold. She used to be much more gullible. Now true trust from her is quite hard to obtain. Only her adoptive family, husband and a couple of close friends are trusted wholly. Marigold also used to be insanely positive. Now she is basically just average. One thing that hasn't changed is her caring attitude towards her friends. Whenever they have a problem Marigold is the first person they think of. Marigold is fine with this. She lives making people feel better. Marigold is a relatively serious person. Having to go into the arena to fight for your death makes you harden.
Flaw: Marigold judges people too quickly and won't change her mind about them unless they do something radical
