Physical Appearance: Rachel stands at five feet two and a half. She is ninety-five pounds giving a few pounds here and there demanding on how much food her family can manage. She has milky white skin that never seems to tan only turn into lobster red. She has wavy dirty blond hair that reaches just past her shoulders. She is rather lean due to all the farm work she has to do. She has a scare on her left arm when an injured sheep got her with a hoof. Her hands dry most of the time due to all the farm work. She is typically dirty since she is always working and she can only bath twice a week to converse water.
She wears overalls with a light blue plaid shirt under the overalls. She wears knee high sheep skin boats and a straw sunhat. To school she’ll wear either a jean dress or a blue plaid shirt with torn overused jeans. She typically wears moccasin shoes unless it’s cold out then she’ll wear moccasin boots.
Personality: Rachel is very shy and sweet. She often charms the people she delivers chicken eggs, wool and milk too. She is a very happy child and is always smiling no matter what. She is a very hard worker despite her age. Once she makes a friend she sticks to their side no matter what. She is very intelligent and knows how to haggle with it.
Despite her sweet good nature she is rather cunning and sassy. She knows how to get what she needs to get and can haggle a great price for what she needs; she’ll use her sweet, innocent appearance and poor background to get better prices. She is too smart for her own good at times; it often gets her into trouble when she questions why things are. She’s also very stubborn and hates sympathy.
She is forced to be much older then she is so she can make sure her family survives week to week. She is also forced to push pass even broken bones to work and has to be courageous enough to fight off any wild creatures that happen to wonder into the district to protect the sheep. She hates having sheep die but isn’t afraid to put the out of their misery or kill any animal that attacks her.
Flaw: Overall loyal to her friends and family. She is terrified of siders. She is extremely stubborn and once her mind is set there is no going back.

Family: Edward Shepard and April Shepard, father and mother.

Brief History: Rachel Shepard was born to Edward Shepard and April Shepard. Her family had been shepherds since it could be remembered; caring, breeding, milking and getting wool from their sheep. April was warm, outgoing, strong women in her peak of life but now is just a shadow of the women she once was, plagued by her many miscarriages and loss of all but one of her children. Edward appears to be a bitter, vulgar man who has an extreme liking for Whisky but has a soft side toward his daughter, his only child. Edward never once raised a hand to his wife or daughter; he’d mostly ended up hurting himself while drunk by punching walls or stumbling around herding sheep.

April had three miscarriages before the birth of Rachel and had lost one son. After Rachel’s birth she had two more miscarriages before the gave birth to twin boys, unfortunately both twins died before the age of nine. The first at age five from the measles and the second at age eight when he got caught by a neighbor’s bull, whom had gotten loose and was roaming around the Shepard’s land. It was around that time Edward started to drink. April and Edward gave up trying for more kids.

Since April was incapable of going into town without having mental breakdown Rachel had to take on a lot of chores. She had sell chicken eggs, they had a few chickens they had received at the funerals of her little brothers, wool, sheep milk and sheep meat. Rachel was a well-known seller.

Rachel bought a puppy of some breed to help her father with herding at age eight after saving months of chicken egg money and selling a few lambs to other shepherds. The dog that once was that puppy often comes with her when she has to tend to the sheep when her father is sick or caring for her mother. She has no fear of doing this alone though she knows the dangers of falling into a creek or getting attacked by a hunger person or possible a stray animal.

She watched her parents be killed in front of her by Peacekeepers. She lived with a friend for a short while but now lives with a foster family. Everyone thinks she is insane and stay away. She is a bit insane, there is nothing left to take but she could get crazier.

Personality: Valeria is very charismatic. She is also manipulative and intelligent. She is also very loyal and friendly to those she really cares about. She is also rather shy and soft-spoken. She is a calm person but when she does lose her temper she really goes over the edge.
Flaw: She’s on the shy side. She won’t start a conversation with anyone unless she is doing something at her family store. She’s also almost to the side of sympatric.

Brief History: Valeria was the only born child of Topaz and Talon Galloway. Her parents had decided she would be a trained to be a tribute before she had even been conceived. Her parents only cared about making money and being famous, they didn’t even love each other. Her parents had only married to create the perfect Career from their eyes: intelligent, charismatic and agile, which they did create.
Valeria grew up in the family store. She watched her parents cheat people out of their hard earned money every day. She quickly learned how to use intelligence to manipulate people, she became so good at this she could even manipulate her parents. As she got older she learned to only use it in certain times where she had to manipulate getting out of trouble.
When she was twelve years old right before her first Reaping she did something that no one thought she could do. She was training with a trainer and he called her weak and a ‘spoiled rich girl’. She flipped the guy, who was over twice her age, over and broke his arm in three different places. She had made her first injury, which was quite an honor, though she didn’t feel like it was such an honor when she found out the trainer got fired afterwards.

Brief History: He was five years old when he found a puppy stuck in dumpster and took it home, he begged his parents to let him keep the black, brown and white hound dog. When he was eight he made a robotic boat that blew up and caused the scar he got on his right shoulder, he was in the hospital for two weeks and doctor’s still couldn’t get all of the metal out of his shoulder. When he was ten he designed a safety feature in the Capitol trains so if they were to derail all the cargo would be fine. That same year he started training to become a mechanic like his father. He feels bad for all the kids entered into the Games but isn't sure if he would volunteer for any of them besides Eben if it would ever happen Eben was reaped.

Physical Appearance: Abigail is stands at only five foot one and is a healthy one hundred pounds. She has wavy red hair that she adores. Her eyes are emerald green. She has a small stature, it is obvious she isn’t going to be that tall but has a few more inches to go.
Personality: Abigail is mostly a sweetheart always smiling and laughing but she has her moments. She is a very happy person and tries to see the best in everything and everyone. She has big hopes for the future and tries to ignore the fact the Hunger Games exist. She is very charming and knows how to sell things. But she does have a fiery temper and is extremely stubborn. She’s curious about the world and picks up on things quickly.

Brief History: On April 22, Helena Finch gave birth to her second child Abigail Daisy Finch. Abigail grew up in the nice part of town where her family lived above a general store, which they owned. She loved going to the meadow as a little girl.

When she was eleven she found a stray puppy that was stuck in what was the electric fence, which obviously wasn’t on since the puppy was alive. She helped the puppy out and took her home. She hand fed the puppy and nursed it back to health. No matter how hard her father tried to get it to go away the puppy was there to stay.

She learned how to use a knife from her older sister River, whom is obsessed with them. By age eleven she was throwing knives at trees and targets she would make out of spare things she would find lying around. Her father wasn’t very fond of this hobby and found it very unlady like but she didn’t care. She did sewing, cooking and gardening like most girls so she decided she would keep throwing knives, she didn’t want to be all ladylike like the rest, she would she be one of the people in crowd, forgettable.
